My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Nikki and her staff for a full renovation and design of our 5,000 sq ft historical home outside Boston. We hired ACQUIRE at the onset of our project, and are so glad we did! The team worked seamlessly with our architect and builder to get the design of the home just right before the first wall was knocked down. Along with furniture planning and selections, ACQUIRE also helped us choose lighting, tile, plumbing and even designed built-ins and millwork drawings for us. At presentation, her team provided us with 3-D drawings of each space, so that we could see each room fully designed with their selections. This was truly helpful for people (like me) who need all sorts of visual help to understand the concepts presented. We felt the home really speaks to our aesthetic and isn't a carbon-copy of our friends' or neighbors' homes. Thank you ACQUIRE! We wholeheartedly recommend your firm to anyone looking for design assistance.

The entire ACQUIRE team is exceptional. Nikki and her staff helped us create our dream home. We gutted our historic 1920s home outside Boston and hired ACQUIRE at the onset. Nikki and her team selected all the finishes (lighting, tile, plumbing etc.) and the furniture for our house. They created renderings of each room, so that we could see the finished spaces, and make any tweaks (if necessary) before the builder started. Given the fact that renovations can be completely stressful, we were happily surprised that the process was such a breeze with ACQUIRE. We wholeheartedly recommend ACQUIRE with five stars.

We used Nikki and the ACQUIRE team to renovate the first two floors of our single family Colonial home. She brought creative energy and spunk and was completely detail oriented. We trusted her design decisions every step of the way. We are SO HAPPY with the final results. BRAVO to ACQUIRE. You turned our house into a home we love.

Moving from out of state and building a new home, we knew we needed someone with a keen eye for details and the ability to work with us long distance over a period of time to see our project through start to finish. Nikki selected plumbing, light fixtures, paint colors and fabrics and helped us think through how to make various rooms function better with the addition of built-ins. Nikki quickly understood our style and how the house would function best for our family. Not only does she have fabulous taste, she was quick to understand our style and respectful of our budget as well. We can't wait to engage Nikki on future projects in our home!

We hired Nikki at Acquire to help us with a major renovation of our kitchen, dining room and mudroom. We had a wonderful experience with Nikki and her team. She very quickly connected with us and understood our style and what we were looking to accomplish. During our initial discussions, Nikki’s experience, creativity, and attention to detail immediately stood out. Nikki is a gifted designer who brought her vision and expertise to ensure our home not only looked beautiful, but was also functional and practical for our young family. We couldn’t be happier with the results. She also helped us avoid pitfalls that could have resulted in costly mistakes or an undesirable outcome. Simply put - Nikki at Acquire Design is amazing! She possesses that rare combination of great taste, a keen aesthetic eye, strong work ethic, a kind heart, and the ability to truly listen to her clients' needs during a renovation. My husband and I owe her a huge debt of gratitude and feel so lucky to have met her. An added bonus is her love of vintage materials and their seamless integration with more contemporary elements that she brings to her projects.

We’re very happy with our refreshed home! Nikki made the makeover feel new and familiar, which is exactly why we now feel so energized, comfortable and content in our home. Nikki has an astute design eye and listened carefully to what we liked and disliked so that she was pre-selecting our options and we were choosing furniture, accent pieces and art that captured the essence of our taste. On the rare occasion my spouse and I couldn’t agree, Nikki was able to bridge the gap, coming up with just the right solution that left us both smiling. Thank you Nikki! A huge thank you to Nikki and her team for a complete transformation of our three-story home. Nikki is a full-service designer to the top marks! She was able to work effortlessly with our GC, as well as bring in her own specialty tradespeople (when we needed them later on in the project). We felt very comfortable with all of her design decisions throughout the process. We feel lucky to have met and worked with her!

Nikki likely saved my marriage! My husband and I have used Acquire twice now, once for our condo in Charlestown and once for our house in Wellesley. My husband and I have VERY different styles, and Nikki and her team did a great job of finding things (paint colors, wallpaper, fixtures, furniture, etc) that appealed to both of us. She gave us beautiful spaces that are a pleasure to come home to, and we constantly get compliments on our home from people that come to visit. Nikki is extremely professional, uses great vendors and subcontractors, is easy to contact, and always responds quickly. If we ever decide to renovate again, or move, I'd use Acquire in a heartbeat!

Through Houzz we found Nikki. We loved her portfolio images and easily connected with her during our initial consult. We hired Nikki to renovate and design our newly purchased 3,500 square foot home. (This was no easy task, considering she had to contend with two small boys and a large dog in regards to the design.) Nikki and her teams of tradesman completely transformed our dark and gloomy 1940s Colonial into something spectacular!!

We worked with Nikki to decorate our three-bedroom condo, over the span of two years. She was terrific to work with - knowledgeable, timely, caring, flexible, and has a great aesthetic eye! Nikki pushed us to think outside the box on various parts of our home and really tried to find a happy medium between our own two design styles (not an easy task!), It's obvious that she loves what she does and is deeply committed to helping her clients really personalize their homes/spaces. Nikki also had great relationships with various vendors and made very helpful recommendations for how to approach wallpapering, molding installation, and other projects we have never done before! One of our favorite parts of working with Nikki was around the installation of the small touches in our home, which ended up being a mix of antiques and other fun and personal pieces.

Through a referral, my husband and I were introduced to Nikki who assisted in designing and transforming our condo in Boston in a way that we had never imagined. Working with Nikki has been an absolutely amazing experience who, from the outset, demonstrated a tremendous amount of creativity, skill, and professionalism. What particularly impressed us about Nikki was her ability to guide us through the process in a patient and kind manner and move through our project at a very comfortable pace. We cannot express how grateful we are to Nikki and recommend her expertise to anyone who needs a little help in designing their home. We guarantee you will not be sorry!
