My decorator of choice was Janet Cloud. She has been working with me since I purchased my new condo. I have relied on her expertise for recommendations for my complete renovation consisting of room design, style, placement, material,, colour etc. She has made herself available on short notice to my many inquiries. I am thrilled with the results of my renovation and design. She has proved invaluable to my achieving a beautiful place to live in and enjoy. I highly recommend Janet’s services.

Janet is lovely to work with and so adaptable. She was able to work within the parameters I gave her and within the budget we discussed. I was so pleased with the result and with the service Janet provided.

Janet helped us set up a new apartment for our mom, including decorating the balcony with a selection of gorgeous all weather faux plants, arranging wall art and furniture, buying and hanging beautiful drapery, updating lamp shades, and adding accent decor. She was fast, efficient, and responsive - completing the project within a few weeks. Mom now has an apartment that she loves and is proud of, that is warm, welcoming and joyful.

I never expected to be treated to the level of care and assistance that Janet gave me when working on decluttering and redesigning the main floor of my apartment. She brought a wealth of ideas to the table all of them I loved and a great many of them I had never thought of myself. The other wonderful fact that I would like to share is that being on a limited budget I was amazed at how we were able to keep expenses down so that I was able to afford her professional assistance on my limited budget. I would have never in my life dreamed that I could afford to hire such a talented individual who virtually transformed my apartment from a dull cluttered, mismatched mess to a functional and beautiful set of rooms that could be right out of a Home and Gardens magazine. I have no hesitation giving Cloud designs five stars. The service was friendly, convenient and truly worth every penny. Thank you Janet for a job well done!

Janet was great at creating beautiful rooms for me on a really tight budget. She showed me product and design ideas that would not have occurred to me. She really listened to what I like and delivered a unique personal style that was my goal.

Janet helped us with redesigning our front and backyards. We have consulted Janet previously on other projects for our new home. For the gardens revamp project, Janet came to assess our yards and also asked us to think about how much sun we got at various spots of our property. We then sent her a list of plants that we desired. She came back again and discussed where the plants could be placed. She organized from purchasing of plants to hiring personnel. Everything was done in one day! She also followed up with us regularly to ensure the newly planted perennials were taken care of correctly in the recent heat waves. She provided tips and ideas which were all very helpful. We are so happy with our new gardens!

We had to get my Mother's 20 year old house on the market to sell quickly. Janet created a renovation plan to get us the best return on investment in a buyer's market. New hardwood, carpeting, kitchen counter, bathroom vanities and fixtures and lighting through out the house. She project managed all this in less than a month using her knowledge of and relationships with quality suppliers and trades. Sold for a good price in less than 2 weeks with multiple offers.

We retained Janet on a kitchen renovation. She is great to work with: she has excellent ideas, is respectful of personal tastes, is extremely organized, keeps the ball rolling, and takes charge as needed when working with the contractor. She’s also very personable and responsible. We highly recommend her and will be using her for future projects.

Janet has been helping us with choosing paint colours for our new home. She is very organized. Each visit is accompanied with detailed notes and action plan for both herself and the home owners so that we are clear what the next steps would be. It has been great working with Janet and we look forward to getting additional advice from her moving forward.

Janet helped me redo my entire backyard and front garden. She perfectly captures my inspiration of contemporary English garden. She knew all the right flowers and plants to put where and masterfully created a space that worked for me. I now have a stunning deck with dining furniture, a gas fireplace with surrounding couch, extra parking pad all while being surrounded by the right combination of greenery and florals.

Janet was wonderful to communicate with, and was quickly able to schedule an in-person session with me. She gave me many options for my space, all while first considering my needs and preferences. She left me with lots of notes that I could refer back to. Highly recommend.

We had the pleasure of working with Janet in updating our main floor including painting, moving furniture, and décor. Janet was amazing, she was efficient, cost effective, and clear in her ideas. She quickly identified a number of things we could do to streamline and move furniture and artwork to create the open airy space we were seeking. Janet sourced gorgeous new drapes that were very affordable yet tailored to our style and colours; she found a fabulous rug, artwork, and accent pieces that added texture and elegance. She was devoted to ensuring the look and feel met our needs; and I was amazed at how quickly she walked through our space and identified how we could eliminate and move pieces to enhance to feel of our main floor. Janet was absolutely committed to meeting agreed to deadlines, she brought us a ton of fresh design and styling ideas she sourced interesting pieces for us, and ensured we loved what she brought us; she was equally willing to return items if we didn't like them. The work isn't finished yet, and we will definitely work with Janet in future for the next phases of updating of our home. Everyone who comes to our house loves what she's designed for us.

I feel so lucky to have found Cloud Designs. I had no idea where to begin with decorating my kitchen/rec room area or redoing our powder room. Janet is a joy to work with. She took the time to understand the style that I'm interested in and guided me in the right direction to achieve the look I was going for. She makes great recommendations for pieces that are different than what I originally thought of but ended up looking amazing in the room at an affordable price. Janet made herself available for texts and calls everyday so I could get the room finished asap and enjoy the space I'm working and living in!

Janet conducted herself very professionally and followed through with what was agreed to. Her designs were helpful and I chose one of her suggestions over what I originally considered. The project was to configure a seating plan that would accommodate changing the orientation of the TV and adding a fireplace while allowing sufficient seating for guests.

Janet has the power to catch your style in just a few words. And when she does she knows exactly where to take you to make your dreams (told and untold) come true. She is really patient and take as long as needed to find the piece that fits your needs. Furthermore she is an expert at finding solutions. And styling a home can bring some challenges, she will always come with a solution not a problem. She really did an amazing job for me

Janet is fantastic to work with. My husband and I are renovating an old home and had to make some structural changes to open up the space. Needless to say, we didn’t leave ourselves very much of a budget for decorating. Janet was able to make our budget work and gave of us many ideas for items to add in the future when our budget allows. She saved me from making a horrible mistake with our kitchen backsplash by recommending a different grout colour….over Zoom no less! Along with a great eye for colour, space and design, Janet is extremely responsive and efficient with her time. I highly recommend her!

I would like to highly recommend Janet to anyone who is looking for an Interior Designer. Having never worked with an Interior Designer previously, I was apprehensive and concerned that my job and budget may have been too small and that we might end up with a rooms that we did not feel comfortable in. However, at our first consultation I felt completely comfortable with Janet. She listened to all my requirements for curtains, furniture, paint colour etc. that we liked.
