I found Angie on Houzz, and engaged her for some design and color consulting work in June 2026. I needed help with finding the right color to go with my orange brick. What I didn't realize is how much help I also needed with all the little details regarding exterior painting - doors, trim, beams, gutters, etc. Angie pointed out every area where a decision would need to be made and provided her expert advice. She sees and thinks of things that I never would have thought of. "You don't know what you don't know" until you work with an experienced expert like Angie. I highly recommend her services so that your home improvement job not only get's done, but that you'll love the results, and remove the stress of making wrong decisions that you'll regret late. It's a great way to ensure that you'll love the results of the investment your making on your home.

Angie Graham of Compliment Design has worked on three of my homes, and I can’t imagine working with anyone else. She first helped me remodel a luxury home in Cherry Hills Village. When I later moved to Bow Mar, Colorado, I immediately called her to bring a fresh, updated look to the new house. The changes she suggested made the home feel more current, comfortable, and truly “me.” Most recently, after purchasing a home in Nantucket, Massachusetts, I asked Angie to work with me remotely from Colorado to redesign the interior. Even though Nantucket is across the country from where she lives, she has handled everything seamlessly. She’s worked directly with my architect to rethink the space and has redecorated in a way that gives the entire home a completely new look and feel while keeping it in the Nantucket upscale style. Angie is incredibly talented, has a fantastic eye, and is a joy to work with. She makes the process easy and fun, even from a distance. We absolutely loved working with Angie! She really listened to what we wanted and managed to bring our ideas to life even better than we imagined. Angie helped us with both interior design and exterior updates... I had several mid-century modern pieces that I hoped to integrate into the new design and Angie executed it beautifully. She also transformed the exterior with a cohesive update that perfectly complements the interior. Her taste is impeccable and she has a great sense for how to balance style with comfort. She also paid close attention to all the little details (i.e. door knobs, light fixtures, etc) that make such a big difference. The quality and care that went into every part of the work really shows and we’re so happy with the end result. Hard to know how and where to start! I have a mid-century modern home, and I had a number of ideas for updating &/or improving, and had consulted with a few contractors who made any number of expensive suggestions, though what they were missing was an overall vision for the home. I new right away that Angie was the person I was looking for, someone with a ton of experience designing and working with mid-century homes. She listened to what my goals were, and very quickly brought forward a number of great options to help me make my goals achievable. Angie assisted me in a primary bedroom/bathroom addition. She is very creative and her ability to see and execute the finished project was refreshing. Angie is easy to work with and had great ideas that elevated the design and the outcome of this home addition.

Angie is the most creative, positive design consultant I have ever worked with. She always listens carefully to what I am telling her my ideas and needs are, but isn't afraid to make suggestions that are out of the box and really innovative and fun; solutions that totally make sense and have added so much to the rooms in our home. She is very organized and keeps both our goals and our budget in mind, and has an excellent sense of both traditional elements as well as very contemporary, and knows how to integrate them. She is well connected in the design community and always seems to know where to go and who to pull in to get the projects completed in a very timely manner. She has helped with a total mud room remodel, powder room remodel and large family room remodel, pulling in paint colors, tile, furniture, lighting and flooring. I've seen several examples of her work in other homes and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her!

We moved in to a vintage home that had been owned by the previous owner for 59 years and it was, while lovingly maintained, an absolute disaster. I contracted a designer and paid $6500 for an initial retainer. We needed to know where to start - what kind of molding, doors, door knobs, palette, kitchen design, windows. floor finishes. EVERYTHING. The designer came back with pages and pages of inspiration photos but nothing actionable. I was beside myself and had all the people showing up in just over a month and I hadn't even picked out a paint color. Someone suggested that I have Angie come by and after not even an hour long visit, she WAS AMAZING. She is super decisive and we went through room by room. Use a single console here, mixed metal light there, move this door to the left, run crown along here, subways there... One decision after another, as we walked through the house her vision, MY vision started to come to life. One hour with Angie was worth more than the $6500 fruitless engagement with another designer and all her pretty swatches that I had no way of purchasing. I could not be any more grateful for everything she has done for us and best of all, our house has now become a home. We are still waiting on a few fixtures and finishes, will post photos once the project is complete.

I cannot recommend Angie enough! Her vision is amazing and she is able to find the potential in even the most desperate of homes and situations. Working with Angie and her Compliment Design team was a blast! I'll be honest, I was hesitant to work with a designer. I had experiences previously where I felt "strong armed" by the designer's vision, and it really wasn't my style; which in turn, did not feel like our home and left us disappointed, to say the least, with our newly "designed" rooms. I have worked with Angie from Compliment Design on two $90-100K remodels, both which included kitchens as well as other sections of the home. One was at my main residence and one was at a short term rental property (VRBO), in a beach town. On both occasions, Angie started off by understanding what I was looking for - she spent the time upfront to understand my perspective as well as my budget. She then crafted well-thought out, functional designs to meet those needs. I asked Angie to bring new, creative designs to the table and to get me out of my comfort zone. Angie was understanding as we went back and forth a number of times before finalizing on the designs and details. She put new ideas in front of me and, yes, some of them took a while for me to come around on - she definitely took me out of my comfort zone! In both cases, the final outcome exceeded my expectations. Since the remodels, I have received multiple compliments on the design. On the VRBO property, the number of guests that voluntarily provide positive feedback on the design is staggering - they love it! I am very happy with how both projects turned out and I can not wait to work with Angie on my next, future project.

Angie did an absolutely fabulous job with the furnishings in my new residence in Denver, she has a wonderful eye for envisioning a floorplan and then implementing a design which is eclectic along with being practical. Her mid century modern motif for my residence could not have worked out more perfectly, she has an incredible eye for utilizing a myriad of colors, textures & tones which she brings together with the customer's input as it relates to their wishes & desires. This is the first time I have ever utilized the skillset of an interior designer, and to be completely honest I couldn't imagine ever doing it again without her astonishingly good taste.
