We have worked with Sofia professionally for nearly 10 years in different capacities, and it's been a pleasure to collaborate on so many successful renovations with a designer who's so knowledgeable about the client's style as well as the current market. She strikes a elegant balance between the client's desires and the reality of field conditions as well as everything in between without sacrificing the design goals or aesthetics. We're blessed to have met Sofia and pleased to know that the symbiotic relationship developed between architect/client/designer/contractor when working with her will continue for a long time. Sofia hit the ground running! We closed on our apartment and Sofia made sure every duck was in a row to begin our renovation within minutes of a signed contract! The apartment is STUNNING and we still pinch ourselves every time we walk through the door and take it all in. We never dreamed of a space as beautiful and we always deferred to Sofia and her expert advice. We just finished an apartment combination with Sofia and she was instrumental in helping us to create a space that we absolutely love. Very Impressive. Best experience I have ever had designing my home. Quick, efficient with time, confident opinions and sophisticated taste level. Kept my needs in mind. Beauty, comfort and practicality. Have 2 kids and a dog that needed to be considered as well! Stayed within my budget. Told me where to spend the money and when it was not necessary. Sofia is AMAZING! We gutted our vacation house, and Sofia helped us choose bathrooms, the kitchen, paint for all rooms and furniture (both indoor and outdoor). Sofia redesigned the kitchen so that there is more usable space, and so the space has a flow. She chose top-notch appliances and countertops as well. Where existing furnishings could be used, Sofia dissuaded us from replacing them. She was fantastic at managing the contractor, and when the contractor mistakenly discarded existing doors, Sofia got immediately in touch with him and got him to agree to replace the doors. Sofia has beautiful taste, and with her help, we have a gorgeous home. Everyone who walks in is wowed by it!!!! We highly recommend Sofia.

Sofia did a wonderful job with our bathroom and kitchen. She designed and oversaw the entire project. Her tastes are more modern/contemporary and she tends towards more muted/neutral colors but she is willing to work with you if your viewpoint is different. Mine was more bright and transitional so we did argue a bit before settling on something. She was very conscientious about costs as well as aesthetics and helped me make the right choices.She would always present the best in class so that I would get an idea and then make a conscious decision( This is my first home improvement project). At times I did end up going with the best because it made overall sense. She is extremely responsive and our emails /questions were always dealt with in the fastest manner. For two working professionals with a very busy schedule this was a boon.

Amazing designer who can work with every budget! Sofia has done several renovations for me in the past few years ranging from buying furniture to a complete gut of a few properties that I own. She has managed all of my projects in a timely manner and gives you a clear sense of budget. The most important thing I think one has to remember is the ability to trust who you will be working with day in and day out for months at a time. Trust in their design sense. Trust in their work ethic. Trust in how they manage time and money that you are using. I believe anyone working with her will not only have amazing results at the end but will have a person you will call a friend after the project is completed.

We had purchased a two bedroom apartment with a dramatic view in midtown New York, but the view was obscured by walls. After interviewing several architects and designers, we hired Sofia based on her ideas and reputation. Within a few months she completed a top-to-bottom renovation, opened up the view and with her exquisite taste, gave us the apartment of our dreams. She is fiercely loyal to her clients and is the buffer between her contractor and subs, making sure all goes according to her plans. Her designs are both beautiful, practical and functional; her attention to detail is evident the more we live in our apartment. She was a delight to work with, and stayed within budget. She is truly a "find"!

Sofia Feldman is outstanding at her work and an absolute pleasure to work with. My family has worked with Sofia for many years - we have done small projects like painting rooms to large projects like gut-renovating rooms with new flooring and bathrooms to completely redecorating our entire apartment.
