My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

H2 Studios LLC is an Austin based boutique design firm owned by Jill Hawthorne with current projects in Ohio, Florida, Colorado, Texas and California. The firm was established in 2008 and is growing strong. Jill has collaborated on award winning projects in both residential and commercial design. With over 20 years experience, Jill graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Interior Design. She has had the diversity and good fortune of working for award winning Interior Design Firms such as Wilson & Assoc., Slifer Design, and her mentor Emily Summers Design. We pride ourselves on authentic design to each client's taste and personality.

We hired Jill in August 2016 to help us design our recently purchased house in Berkeley. It was the first time using a designer for both my wife and me, which meant it was a full learning experience. My wife and I have a very difficult time making design decisions and having Jill to help arbitrate and set a vision really spared our young marriage a test it truly may not have survived. All in all, we have been very happy with the end result of the house. Jill helped us to make decisions quickly and effectively, although we did go over budget by about 15% (as much our fault as hers). Jill has a great eye for color and was really able to help us figure out the mid mod / contemporary blend that we were looking for. She was very fair with her pricing and billing - and we ended up with furniture that we never would have been able to find on our own.
