Interior Elements specializes in environmental interior design. Interior Elements was helping people live green long before it was fashionable. We can help you create a healthy and environmentally friendly home or office. From Lighting Design to Redesign and staging and everything in between. We make your spaces beautiful, healthy and efficient! We spend a great deal of our time indoors. It is important to choose materials for our homes and offices that promote good indoor air quality for the health and well being of the occupants. Interior Elements will assist you with project certification goals such as LEED for Homes or The National Association of Home Builders Green Building Program. Our pricing is based on an hourly rate for consulting with affordable introductory consultation and recommendations, product recommendations, and sourcing.

Margie’s expertise was incredibly helpful during our remodeling project. She communicated promptly and professionally with the contractor and was quick to contact companies to inquire about specific products. Margie’s list of professional contacts is extensive and provided us with options and ideas during the course of our project. Working with Margie was a joy!

Margie provided expert guidance in choosing lighting for a large kitchen that includes an L-shaped work area, an island, a seating area, glass front cabinets, a stained glass window and a wall specifically lit to feature family photographs. Each of the six areas are lit differently, and yet it appears seamless. The lights Margie chose allow us to easily change the lighting for nighttime, daytime, or whether we are preparing a meal, enjoying the meal, or just gathering with family and friends in the kitchen. We highly recommend Margie for any lighting project.

Margie was a delight to work with. She is a professional yet friendly and down-to-earth; she looks at all aspects of your project and offers support and ideas that are so helpful keeping in mind one's tastes and budget. She also sees "problems" that one can miss like tripping hazards, cords, rugs, etc.. She has great suggestions for lighting, accent pieces, colors again keeping in mind one's preferences. We are so glad we connected with Margie and very happy with our new room, thanks to her sound advice and encouragement to move a bit out of our usual comfort zone. I have, and will recommend Interior Elements Design to others who may have a project in the future.

I worked with Margie at Interior Elements Design over a 4 month period while renovating my Wellesley home. I could not have done it without Margie! We focused on lighting, replacing over 100 fixtures, both functional and decorative.
