We met with Jennifer of Intersect Design on the recommendation of a neighbor whose remodeling project turned out beautifully. Being an artist with strong design opinions myself, and having managed our other past remodelings I didn't know if we really needed a designer, but wanted to hear what she'd suggest and offer -- especially because we planned both an addition and extensive updating of most of our 1960's house. At our first meeting Jennifer asked all the right budget and timing questions, and pretty perceptively picked up on our esthetic -- our living/artistic/color style. She soon came back with rough plans and sample surfaces, tile, etc., allowing us to quickly dive in to the process, and then find a contractor. I can really obsess over the broad possibilities, so her editing of those, in such an intuitive way, was liberating and efficient. She saved me many hours of deliberating and enabled quicker decisions throughout the project, which helped us and contractor. She is not an architect, and if you're doing any tricky structural work you will want or need architectural and engineering advice, but I would recommend her design services to anyone. She's also very upbeat, responsive, and a good communicator.

Jennifer was so helpful. She came up with great ways to reuse some of the pieces we wanted to keep, and yet she used them in ways we had never thought of. She was bang on budget, and she even beat the deadline she set! I would very definitely use her again.

Jennifer Usselman is wonderful to work with! She is talented at interior design, flexible in her approach, easy to work with, available, affordable and lots of fun! She consulted with me on my kitchen remodel, family room-design/decorating/furniture selection, pain colors throughout the house.

Jennifer worked on giving the house we bought a facelift: new carpet, paint on walls and cabinets, new tiles, design an open space with double doors and bookshelves. There are so many positives to working with Jennifer on our home. She was a down to earth gal who was a good listener who knows and understands her craft. I've seen a few of Jennifer's home design and she truly makes your home yours. We've enjoyed working with her and would hire her again!

Jennifer is fantastic! Not only does she have wonderful taste, she makes projects flow seamlessly from inception to completion. She quickly honed in on the look and function we were trying to achieve and made the design decisions much easier for us. There are so many small details to track in a project, and Jennifer didn't miss any of them! She was a great with our contractor and when issues arose, she was able to address them with style and creativity. We were very pleased throughout the process and continue to be delighted on a daily basis with beautiful finished product. Jennifer will be the first call we make before starting any new projects.

I hired Intersect Design and could not be more pleased with the result and Jennifers designs..I moved my entire kitchen and it was quite the undertaking..Intersect made it everything i wanted and more!! Great work and in a tight budget with the materials I wanted!! Love it and will continue to reccomend her on all projects as she has a keen eye for design..

We've hired Jennifer twice, first to help with our kitchen remodel, then with our master bath. She did an excellent job helping with design and material selection. Jennifer listened to our family's needs, and was respectful of budget. All her work was delivered quickly, and she was amazingly responsive to questions throughout the duration of the jobs. Perhaps most importantly, she also helped us manage the project including ensuring smooth communication with our contractor.

Jennifer is so professional, knowledgeable and talented! Not to mention really fun to work with! We have used her services several times over the years and I would highly recommend her! She has great ideas and works well within a budget. My husband calls her the "marriage counselor" of remodeling and design. She always knows what to suggest so that we could both be happy with the outcome.
