Moss Interior Design

I used Moss Interior Design for a large renovation project and then a new custom build. I had a particular vision in mind in both cases (both projects completely different from each other) and Maddie was always on point with her suggestions. She was fantastic at offering unique ideas for optimal space usage while maintaining that WOW factor I was going for. She has a keen eye and was always presenting me with various items she found for my review. I will definitely be using Moss Interior Design again!

Very good taste. A proponent of "less is more". Well connected to the best suppliers. Practical and professional. A very good listener. Recognizes personal importance of certain items and furnishings and does a masterful job of incorporating them tastefully into the agreed-to theme. Is demanding of contractors but they quickly get on-side and are very respectful of her knowledge and potencies. The project seemed to have 100% of her attention 7 days a week. Excellent communication skills as we always were kept very well informed of choices and timelines. At all times a complete pleasure to work with. In summary; the house is complete, we absolutely love the design aesthetically and practically. We take more credit than we should for the result because she insisted that she just enhanced our ideas. We miss "working" with Maddie and we would never consider another interior design project without Moss Interior Design.

We hired Moss Interior Design to help us with our inner-city Calgary new build. My wife and I knew we wanted a relatively modern look with clean, simple lines. What we didn't know was how to turn our vision into reality. After our first meeting with Maddie, we knew right away that she would be the right person to help us with this process. She has the ability to perfectly balance when to listen to the client and when to interject with her professional opinion. She was always available to answer our questions and did a great job of walking us through the entire design process so that there were never any unpleasant surprises. In addition, she was very conscious of our budget while still being able to deliver the look we were wanting. maddie is a wonderful Interior Designer, great ideas from helping you choose paint colours, carpets, cushions , lights,accents, etc, took all the stress out of picking colours,furniture etc, and helped me to create the look I wanted, Maddie is Knowledgable,professional ,friendly, and I would highly recommend her ,

Maddie Moss did the interior design on our major home renovation. She was exceptional to work with at every stage of the process. Initially she helped us get a sense of our design preferences and then assisted with all the selections - flooring, railing, paint, kitchen design, window coverings, furniture, accessories and decorating. She was the consummate professional and extremely easy to work with. She worked effectively with our contractor and all the trades to make this a seamless process. I can't thank her enough. We're thrilled with the results!

We needed help reimagining the furnishings and configuration of our smallish living room to flexibly seat up to 6-8 people. With this goal in mind, we had tried purchasing and rearranging furniture twice before and failed, and were beginning to wonder if we might have to take out the fireplace or some similar drastic measure. After listening carefully and measuring the space, Maddie made specific suggestions about furniture that would suit our needs, and provided a detailed, flexible plan involving two loveseats, two chairs, and two cubes. She sourced new furniture (loveseats and cubes), accompanied us to two furniture stores so we could view the items, guided us gently in our selections, and also worked with us to incorporate some of our existing furniture into the new plan. Maddie was truly a pleasure to work with in all regards. She was sensitive to our taste, and showed outstanding professionalism, judgment, and follow-through. She was knowledgeable and worked within our budget. We are truly delighted with how our living room has turned out!

We have worked with Maddie on numerous projects, and have been thoroughly impressed with her design insight and ability to seamlessly navigate the selections process. When she is working with a client we always have clear selection details, and it makes our job so much easier!
