Natari Design was wonderful to work with! This was our first time working with an interior designer, and it exceeded our expectations. We were completing a renovation on our entire house and hired Natari Design to help us with our interior design needs from furniture, layout, lighting, decor and wallpaper. Mehnaz took the time to understand our style, our budget and what our unique needs for the house were before coming to us with her proposal. The time Mehnaz took upfront to get to know and understand us ensured that her initial designs were exactly what we were looking for. Not only did Mehnaz bring us different options for everything, but she was also extremely open to listening to other ideas we had, and providing her honest opinion. She brought us items that were in our budget, and didn't hesitate to continue to tweak designs on furniture until they were perfectly to our liking. We also appreciate that Mehnaz made sure to utilize our existing furniture to help minimize additional spending on our part. Mehnaz was patient and listened to our feedback on the designs. She met all of our timelines so that when we moved home, it was ready. She carefully inspected everything as it arrived to ensure they met her high quality standards. She did not hesitate to return things that didn't meet her expectations. We truly felt a partnership with Mehnaz. Her creativity and expertise created the spaces in our home that we had envisioned.

Working with Mehnaz at Natari Design was an absolute pleasure. She helped us to design and decorate the majority of our family home. We are thrilled with how everything turned out. We hired Mehnaz Malik of Natari Design for what we thought would be a renovation of an existing bathroom and adding a master bathroom into a home we’d newly purchased. As it turned out, we ended up gutting the entire first and second floors due to asbestos and other structural issues with the home and so the scope of her work increased significantly. Very simply, we could not have made it through the project without Mehnaz. She guided us with care and patience through the entire process. She created a layout that worked for us now, and anticipated what we would need in the future. She simplified for us the million and one choices to be made, which would have been entirely overwhelming without her expertise. She helped us to pick finishes that spoke to us, brought life and energy into the house and kept us focused on the big picture of how everything would work together. She focused in on our priorities for what we needed and wanted for our family home, worked within our budget and made it all a reality. She was very responsive whenever we had questions or concerns and demonstrated creativity and adaptability when construction issues created unexpected hurdles. The end result is a light-filled home that is beautiful, warm and inviting and that functions perfectly for our family. We couldn’t be happier with the results and we know that we will enjoy our home for years and years to come in large part because of her work. We can’t recommend her highly enough.

Mehnaz provided interior design consulting for our home renovation at various stages throughout the project, to help guide us through some of the decisions we were not confident in making on our own. Mehnaz did an excellent job of understanding what our personal style and design preferences are, to ensure that the end product she was guiding us to would get the look we were after. We changed some key areas to layout and finishings based on the advice Mehnaz provided and we are so pleased with the result.

Our front hall and living/dining room needed refreshing and coherence. Mehnaz turned them into a bright, organized, comfortable and dynamic space which we love. From start to finish, Mehnaz brought her professional approach, her creativity and efficient work style to our project. She understood every element of our wishes and problems and brought inspiring ideas for us to consider. In addition to stunning furniture and lighting choices, Mehnaz designed a dazzling marble mantelpiece for the fireplace, an extraordinary coffee table, a beautiful, functional media cabinet and floating shelves to display treasures from our travels and family heirlooms. She resolved a thorny problem with the view onto the front porch with her clever curtain treatment. Even with COVID-related delays and challenges, Mehnaz kept things moving forward to completion. She has a roster of excellent trades with whom she has a great working relationship, solving problems together and achieving high quality results on time and on budget. Mehnaz is a joy to work with and a consummate professional.

We asked Mehnaz of Natari Design to assist us in the redesign of our main floor. It's a project we had wanted to take on for a long time, but we needed a guide to steer us to a cohesive, updated design and a brighter look. We had spent hours online looking at ideas and products and were getting overwhelmed. Working with Mehnaz we were able to identify what wasn't working with our current space and how to achieve the vision we had in mind. She came with us to select flooring, pointed us to furniture and lighting solutions and sourced wallpaper and paint choices. As we progressed with the project we would set up a meeting or consult via email to get her input and keep us moving. Mehnaz was extremely patient and had fantastic ideas. Simply put - she could see things we couldn't see, until she pointed them out. What was especially valuable was that she really listened, was honest about what was and wasn't going to work and gave us specific, practical suggestions. When you're managing a project yourself there are so many critical decisions to make that really influence the finished look. Working with Mehnaz we were able to make those decisions and maintain the momentum of the project to get a space that we are really happy with.

We were very happy with Natari Design from start to finish with help for design and furnishing of our living room/dining room! We contacted them through a word of mouth referral, and then had a prompt response with a thorough explanation of the process and costs that might be involved with our project. They were able to capture our design wishes with an in-person consultation, use of inspiration boards, and a walk through our house. Anticipated timelines and costs for our project were realistic and accurate. We could not be happier with our beautifully furnished, comfortable and elegant living/dining room space and look forward to working with Natari Design again for other design projects in our home!

We are a busy family whose home decor was in need of an update but we simply had no time to manage the project. Mehnaz was wonderful to work with - we made a list of everything we thought needed "help" and she worked with us to understand the look we were trying to create and then sourced everything from curtains to furniture to lighting to paint colours, all within our budget. She has a talented eye for colour and ability to (patiently) provide options until we had what we wanted. In 10 weeks from start to finish, it was all complete. We could never had done this on our own. At all times Mehnaz was generous with her time and expertise and we were delighted with the finished product.

I hired Natari Design to help me make some renovations in my home. I was not happy with the way my home was, I had a vision of what I wanted but I could not put it into action. Mehnaz translated my words and thoughts into a beautifully designed living space. Her use of fabric, light and colour have transformed my living space into an area I can enjoy with my family, while still providing adequate storage.

Mehnaz Malik is a true and tried professional. She undertook my renovations/updating project with full transparency and devotion. I expressed concerns about her having the time to devote to my Project and she explained that "If I take it on, then I'm totally 100% on it". She was true to her word. Unlike other designers, I didn't have to chase her or wait for answers; in fact, she was chasing me and keeping me on schedule rather than the other way around. Mehnaz gave me what I felt was true personalized service in that she responded to my queries and adjusted the scope to adapt to budgetary matters throughout the Project. She also lived within the budget but consistently offered me alternatively priced options for me to choose from. She showed great judgment gently pushing me where I needed to invest more and discouraging me where something might not have the best use of my precious dollars. She kept all the trades in line, was present when they were working, troubleshot the usual issues that come up in a timely manner. And last but not least, her product and ideas are beautiful! Mehnaz clearly spent time thinking and dreaming up ideas about my Project and came up with some additional ones that made all the difference to take it from unique to "Wow"!
