My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

About Us

The award-winning practice operates in an environment in which project management and implementation takes place in parallel with model-making, prototyping and experimentation with ideas, materials, and manufacturing processes. With a focus on sustainable design, the office maintains a cross-disciplinary nature where research and sharing ideas is an essential part of work philosophy. NEA Studio continues to design, develop and exhibit solar lights and furniture while practicing architecture at New Lab in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The office will complete a LEED certified residence in Long Island in the winter of 2018 and is currently co-designing a public solar lighting installation for the Bronx River Park.

Awards

The designer's Landscape Sofa won the 2015 Good Design Award Chicago Atheneum Museum of Architecture and Design, and her 3D printed solar Latitude Lights won the A’Design Award in 2017. She received her PhD in Architecture in 2016, and teaches environmental architecture and design at NYU Gallatin.
