Nested Interior Design helped me with the remodel of my condo. She helped me put together the drawings & documents needed for construction and selected all of the finishes for the whole house including the kitchens and bathroom. I worked with Erika on a complete gut job of my historic bungalow and I am so happy with the results! In a small footprint she managed to carve out space for a second bathroom, third bedroom, new dining room, and we moved the kitchen entirely into a beautifully lit corner of the home. As an interior designer Erika did a superb job in helping me select the finishes and furniture for all the living spaces in my new home on the Oregon coast. I initially asked Erika for guidance on color and design choices for the outside of my home. My house was framed up with siding and windows in place. But I was unsure about the colors for the gutters, down spouts and front door and how these accent colors would define its style. I am color challenged but have strong views about the use of space, quality of finishes and style. Erika won my confidence and trust by choosing external colors that clarified the modern style I desired and increased its curb appeal. She then excelled in making the internal choices for plumbing and lighting fixtures as well as selections for paint colors and countertops that applied the modern cues internally. The most difficult task required integrating the colors and textures she had already made with selecting the appropriate pieces of furniture. I truly love the overall effect. I appreciated Erika’s success even more when I considered how difficult it was to provide guidance long distance when she moved from Oregon to Florida halfway through this process and during a pandemic.

Erika knew exactly what questions to ask to get me to visualize my dream design. Her choices were incredibly intuitive and elegant. The entire process was fun, creative, and seamless. She furnished an entire room with impeccable pieces while being conscientious of my budget. A true partner! Could not recommend her enough.
