Exceptional design experience. Note: This review is way overdue. ‐---------- I hired Queen Bee / Laura (10/2024) to redesign my living room, and I cannot put into words how happy I am with the outcome—I absolutely adore it! (Project completed 02/2025) She worked closely with me, truly collaborating on my vision while bringing her own expertise and creativity to the space. One of the things I appreciated most was her ability to incorporate pieces I already owned, blending them seamlessly with new additions to create a fresh yet familiar feel. Laura has a great eye for design, and there were a few choices I wasn’t 100% sure about at first. But when she said, "Trust me," I decided to let go—and I’m so glad I did! Every single decision came together perfectly. Her overall demeanor is warm, kind, polished, and always thoughtful. She made the process enjoyable, and I always felt heard and understood. She even gave me some fantastic advice for my dining room, which led to a few refreshing updates that made a big difference. Laura has completed three projects in our home. A full first floor remodel, an office remodel and a stunning bathroom remodel. I really enjoyed working with Laura, and she was quick to discern the nature and the type of services I wanted. She picked some things, I picked some things. Both of our selections evolved as we became more familiar with likes and dislikes. She helped me make wise decisions about keeping things I was ready to pitch. And also pushed me to consider things I might otherwise not have (and now love). The project became a little more protracted than either of us expected but she stuck with me through to the end. And I have decor and styling that I am very pleased with.

She helped me with different aspects of our whole home remodel - lighting fixtures throughout, furniture and rugs (family room, living room, master bedroom), and bedroom window treatments. Laura's exceptional responsiveness is exceeded only by her outstanding eye for design and her budget conscious approach to make our remodeling/furniture investment go as far as possible. Laura is a great listener, will allow clients the room to be engaged with the design process but at the same time my wife and I also appreciated when she felt strongly about a particular idea or approach that we initially might have not fully understood or appreciated. Like any good service provider Laura takes the time to explain her reasoning/intent which made us feel like we were a part of the process as opposed to designers who just expect you to take their recommendations as gospel and never be questioned (yes...it happens). It felt like we received a lesson in good design because, dammit, in the end, she was always right. With that said, we never felt like we were being pushed and Laura always effectively provided a quick cost/benefit analysis for our decisions. We also appreciated that while she was amazingly decisive, on rare occasions, she was confident enough to share when a short time later, might have rethought the issue and changed her/our mind. I recently worked with Laura Faucher. I was referred to her by a friend and am so delighted she was available to work with me. Not being much of a decorator myself I really had no idea what I wanted except fresh paint throughout the house. She had a great recommendation for that with great results seeing a new coat of paint. But what was really fun was when I just said "any ideas?" - she immediately had some...all things I had never thought of and LOVED. She focused on "my style" and ways to update my kitchen and living room. Not only did she have great suggestions but it wasn't about spending a lot of money but more like using what I had to make things look better. She was very good about keeping in touch as my kitchen work was being done and throughout the updating process. She always offered good suggestions without "pushing" anything....very down to earth. She also had access to the many professionals needed for the work I decided upon. I would definitely work with her again or refer others to her.

Laura from Queen Been Interiors could not have been better to work with on our living/family room design. She is extremely knowledgeable, knows the design market/resources. And did a amazing job facilitating our entire design process from giving fantastic design ideas from layout of furniture placement, fabric color/texture, rugs, furniture pieces (sofa sectional; chairs, accessories etc.) to give our new living/family that cozy comfortable feeling which was the main outcome of our project. I've so valued the expertise and eye that Laura brings. She has helped me reimagine my home and make it a dream home for me and my family. We bought a house that was built in 80's. So every room needed remodeling from flooring, painting, lighting.... etc. I found Laura on Houzz. Within couple of days after we met, I had a google doc proposal with estimate for each room, general contractor to bid on job. Within a week, remodeling started. Laura is very organized, great listener, accessible( replies to my texts and emails in all kind of hours). Buying a house is stressful. Remodeling is taunting. I can write a book on challenges we had with remodeling. Laura was with us in every step and we couldn't have it without her. We moved in the house in July and we are thrilled with the results. Now Laura is helping us with furniture and accessories.

I have used Laura on 3 different houses. I have moved several times over the years and Laura has been invaluable in each of my moves. She helps me stay within budget by finding substitutes for items that are way out of the budget. Many times I liked her pick better than my more expensive original. She is great with scale and design. I still have most of the packets of information for each of the homes (from color palette to fabric swatches to pictures of lighting and furniture pieces. I wish she lived in Arizona because I would not hesitate to call her. I have given an approximate cost for each of the projects (some were smaller homes more toward the low end and 1 was for a 3800 ft home). I have the highest regard for her talent, her vision, and her professionalism.

I have known Laura for years and have always loved her style. She had done work for a few neighbors and when I was ready to create a new space combining my den and laundry room, I thought I would ask her. The new "laundroffice" came out better than I had imagined. The first thing she did was to tell me to make a list of my wants, no matter how outlandish so that she could get a feel for what I really wanted and needed. I took about a week and kept adding to the list and cutting out pages of magazines and catalogs. She then designed with all the bells and whistles, and we pared down that to fit into my budget (keeping the essential dreams!) Laura really knows how to create a space for your needs and design/decorate according to your style (and budget). I joke that I live in my new room, but I really have no reason to leave it--but for my 5 children and husband--for which I needed the space! I spent more than I had originally planned, but it is an investment in my life and future re-sale. I was unsure about this, but Laura was gentle in educating me in the many reasons for spending on such an important project. I am very glad I took her advice, she is a fabulous person to work with in all ways.

Worked with Laura on 2 bathrooms. Gutted them to the studs and completely rebuilt them from the ground up. Loved her design recommendations and appreciated that she worked very closely with us to find materials and a contractor that fit within our budget. You could tell that she has very strong relationship with all her local vendors and was amazed that everyone delivered what and when they said they would. She allowed us to be as involved in the process as we wanted. We wanted to go to the tile store, but told her to pick out fixtures and paint. She hit the nail on the head everytime.
