I am a very busy professional and Lucy was able to handle all aspects of my renovation. For me the best part was having the stress of researching products, finding suppliers and trusted contractors taken off my shoulders. The end result surpassed all my expectations in terms of cost, functionality, look, timeframe and value. Lucy and her team did a basement bathroom renovation for us and we were really happy with the process and the result. We have an old house and kind of quirky tastes and I was afraid that any designer I worked with would push us toward neutral and bland. A friend recommended Lucy and I felt like she really listened to what we wanted AND made thoughtful suggestions to steer the project in the direction of maximizing resale value without making it generic. Once she got a good sense of what we liked, she was able to propose tiles and fixtures that we wouldn't have known how to find, but which ended up working beautifully. She was also open to incorporating some of our existing pieces, which saved us a decent amount of money. We appreciated her flexibility and patience in the design process. During the actual renovation, she found and managed the contractor and stayed in close communication with us about the few challenges and delays that occurred. There was one significant plumbing surprise (old houses) and she worked with us to figure out a cost-effective solution. Ultimately, we trusted her expertise and ended up with a lovely new bathroom, on budget and almost on time (just 2 weeks over, which I hear from other friends is a miracle). We would feel comfortable recommending Lucy and Sync Design to anyone.

Lucy brought a number of factors to the redesign of our kitchen and living room. She had a number of excellent design ideas, contacts within the industry that allowed us to save money and also to ensure that we had great tradesmen doing the work. Within the kitchen there was also a great idea about hiding electrical outlets that really help make the back splash look even better. Lucy worked very hard on the project and with every decision we were presented with a number of options to select from and Lucy was willing to find other options where we weren't initially satisfied. We are planning on redoing one of our bathrooms and will be using Lucy again for this work.

Lucy helped us with our kitchen renovation. She is fantastic to work with, is organized, professional, and flexible. Lucy oversaw the renovation of my basement and made the project very easy and enjoyable for me. She pre-interviewed 8 general contractors, of which we interviewed 4 together before choosing the successful one, who also did an outstanding job.
