Working with Christine was seamless and a pleasure. She took notes on everything I told her I was interested in and made fabulous suggestions. The thing that I love most about this process is that she picked things that I normally would not have picked out myself but I absolutely love the way they look in my home. She provided us with exactly what we were looking for, an outside eye that can see something we can't! Thank you!

I was so happy to have Christine's vision, eye and enthusiasm help me rethink my redecorating project. She swept in and suggested changes big and small, and then rolled up her sleeves and moved furniture with me. And then stood back and assessed my stuff. She placed my great pieces, and stored away the excess clutter and made even a subtle shift in my living room really pop. Simple solutions made a world of difference. And I would have been blind to the possibility without her fresh focus and fine tuned talents. I love living in this new space she helped create.

Christine Martin with Decorilla is amazing!!! She has helped me update my 2005 home from the cream/brown decor to a more modern and less cluttered look. I look at my bookshelves (for example) and think--YIKES!!! Christine sends me her designs and I think--WOW!!! Although all her work is done online, it's like she has been to my house and has placed items directly. She works tirelessly with me and the styles I like. So far, we have done my entry and front room and are finishing up my living and kitchen nook. Photos to come. I highly recommend Christine at The Good Abode! She has helped me several times, most recently in designing our living/dining room space and master bedroom for our flat in Hong Kong. Christine has an excellent eye and was able to weave in some of our existing furniture pieces while also offering suggestions for other items that would enhance both spaces. She sent us a detailed, accurate floor plan for furniture arrangement along with a color palette that tied everything together. I really appreciate her positive spirit, humor, efficiency, and warm personality. I was amazed with how well she could design our space even though we live thousands of miles away. Christine is a true pleasure to work with! I know I will seek her out again when we eventually move on from Hong Kong.

Christine Martin, our designer, was outgoing, sweet, thoughtful, and flexible with our different international schedules. All consultation was done online - through photographs and videos. She asked what we wanted, but we are not versed in style types so we told her "comfortable" with keeping our yellow wall and some furniture. {We live in Moscow - where the weather can be dark and gray for many months of the year.} She brought us a design that looked warm and comfortable - plus used stores that exist in our city. It took a few months of conversations and visits to IKEA, but we are so happy with how our living room has turned out. She helped us place our pictures on the wall after we set it all up. We recommend Christine Martin. We included before and after photos, which were both taken on typical gray days to show how much her design has lightened our living room.

I was recently part of a surprise for a friend: a new office for her to operate her business. My job was to handle furniture and decor, and I had three major challenges: 1) this friend has absolutely exquisite taste, 2) the office space was last decorated in the 1980s (yikes), and 3) I was operating within a strict budget. Rather than go it alone, I enlisted Christine at The Good Abode to help me design the space. Using only dimensions and photos of the space, photos of my friend's home to show her style, and answers to some simple questions, Christine was able to design and select pieces for the space entirely remotely. She provided a shopping list with links to the items (all I had to do was point, click, purchase). She sent me a drawing to show me where to place the items (super easy). When something was on back order, she was quick to give me other options. When I needed help with selecting additional small items, she was easy to get in touch with. Best of all, my friend loves the space and I delivered it on time and under budget. Many thanks to Christine whom I will be hiring again for my next project!
