My husband and I worked with Alison to reimagine our basement. We are so happy with the work she delivered and the process of working with her. We interviewed a few architects and designers and choose Alison based on her experience, knowledge, and attentiveness. She was very organized and really thoughtful. It made the process so easy to always know the next steps and timeline. Alison had creative solutions to our basement challenges that we never thought of. She was really diligent in checking to ensure her ideas were possible and fit within our budget and she had great suggestions on how to bring our project to life an economical way. We are so happy we choose to work with her!!

Couldn’t recommend working with Ali enough! We hired her to update our fireplace and convert it to gas. She came up with a beautiful concept that fit the character of our early 1900’s home and worked with the contractors to make sure the vision was executed to perfection—all within a tight timeframe. Couldn’t be happier with the results and the process. She's now helping us design the rest of the room to go with our beautiful new fireplace :-)

We had a great experience working with Ali of Wilk Design. She did the architectural designs for the complete renovation of our entire first floor and basement. We felt she did a great job reflecting our taste in the designs, while still taking into consideration our functional needs and budget (and providing a lot of creative suggestions!). The throughness of her work made the bidding process for contractors very straightforward as the scope of the work was laid out very clearly. Truly dont think we could have completed the project so successfully without her involvement - we are ecstatic with the finished product.

Alison was a dream to work with. She grasped the styles and hopes we had for our space and came up with a design proposal that exceeded our expectations. The proposal included amazing furniture buys that fit in our budget, and a floor plan rendition of the space which was so helpful for decision making. Alison was extremely professional and responsive and iterated with us throughout the project. We are so happy we worked with Alison!

Working with Ali was an absolute pleasure. She was incredibly responsive, professional and helpful throughout the process. After having a conference call and going over our style preferences at the onset, she put together a proposal that was completely in line with our style. Any time we gave feedback on suggestions where we wanted different options she countered with exactly what we had in mind. We were really worried about some of the space constraints we were up against when it comes to SF apartment living, but we were able to navigate through relatively effortlessly with Ali coordinating with the vendors. We couldn't be happier with the way our place turned out and have Ali to thank for it! Would highly recommend for any interior design project big and small.

I hired Alison to develop drawings/renderings to help me market my two properties - an existing 1934 cottage and a buildable lot. The locations, orientations, and setbacks of the two properties were very complex and I'd been struggling for years on how to present them to potential buyers. Alison dug in, clarified a lot of ambiguity around setbacks and other development issues by personally meeting with the City, and delivered an outstanding set of drawings - on time and below her original estimate. I had full price offers on both properties within just a few days. Whip smart, creative, responsive, and great to work with - outstanding experience overall!
