Amanda Bligen

I was fortunate to be one of Amanda's first clients after her relocation to Texas. She brought her extensive experience and positive attitude to bear in guiding me through my first renovation project. From a position of "I don't know what I want" to "that definitely won't do", Amanda was patient and very helpful in making my dreams come true (even when I didn't exactly know what they were!). I would not hesitate to recommend Amanda to anyone seeking a professional designer and supervisor for any size of job. Every time I enter my beautiful new bathroom, I am grateful to Amanda all over again!

Amanda worked long hours helping me remodel the kitchen, bathroom, closets and floors of my Tribeca apartment. She was very helpful guiding me through the various design options, cabinets, colors, hardware, appliances etc. Most of all, Amanda is very pleasant and fun to work with and she is passionate about her work.

Amanda is one of those rare individuals who works in the rarified air of the extra mile. She gets into a project and just digs in and doesn't let up until the entire job is completed - from space to color to paperwork. If you need a designer who will not be happy until she is happy, call on Amanda.

Amanda was absolutely amazing in so many ways throughout my renovation. She was THE most professional representative I have had the pleasure to deal with in any business I have come across. Talking to Amanda on a daily to weekly basis throughout the project always brought out the best in me as a client/customer, even during those incredibly frustrating road bumps that will happen in a renovation. In all seriousness, when I had my first telephone conversation with her, I thought I had dialed the office of a Fortune 500 corporation. Her attitude was exceptionally positive and warm while also being professional in all forms of correspondence / communication. She knew the ins and outs of the project and kept up to date on what was going on. An absolutely lovely person who exudes warmth, high intelligence, professionalism, attention to detail, and efficiency as much in person as by phone or via email. One of the things that impressed me the most...she took care to be accurate in her language - the sign of a true professional. Originally when I first signed on with the contractor, I thought I would have been working with one of the owners on the company from start to finish. The original design layout, cost structure and process was between one of the owners and I. A few weeks into the project, they had hired Amanda and essentially put her in charge of implementing the renovation in more of a project management role. In this capacity, I was very fortunate to have Amanda as the project manager/relations manager on my renovation. I was very satisfied overall with how attentive she was on the project. She was quick to respond to all of my questions, which to me contributed to my overall satisfaction. For a role which required really good organization skills and attention to daily processes, she was great. She was also a very personable, good person to talk to over the phone. Very easy to reach and quick to respond at all times. In my case where this was my first renovation project, she was good to the point where I would sign on with the same contractor and have her be on the project. I do believe Amanda would be a very good hire for for any company.
