Abby is wonderful. She truly cares about her work and her customers. I feel like I made a friend in addition to hiring a great designer. She went way out of her way to help us get the best pieces for our home. I could tell she enjoyed the process and that, along with her obvious expertise, really put me at ease. Every subcontractor (delivery, drape installer etc) has the same great work ethic and we’re a joy to be around. We purchased an entire new living room including custom sectional , new custom dining chairs and refinished our bar stools, and got a new custom sleeper sofa for my office. Each detail was perfect and she stayed in our budget. I highly recommend this store for design and even if you just want to buy a small accent piece. The shop is lovely.

Abby is wonderful. She was able to quickly figure out our style and create a design that was unique and beautiful but consistent with our taste. As clients, we needed a gentle push to take slight risks and Abby did so very adeptly, always giving us options to ensure we were comfortable. She refers to her designs as “stories,” such that each room tells a story, and we feel that rings true. A unique and beneficial aspect of working with Abby is that she has her own store and handles the manufacturing of custom furniture out of her store so in many cases we were able to visit the store and see furniture and other items in-person before making final decisions. We will definitely use Abby again and highly recommend her.

About 15 years ago I visited Abby's place to purchase a sofa, love seat and ottoman. I truly loved the pieces and I thought those would be the last time i needed to buy them. Shortly after acquiring them, our cats and dogs destroyed all three pieces beyond repair. So much for having nice things. Fast forward to 2017 where the pets are a distant memory and I have the means to purchase the pieces again. Fortunately, Abby's store was still in Studio City. Unfortunately, it turned out her source for the original sofa I purchased went out of business years ago. However, she still had the records of what I bought, and with those she would be able to replicate the original sofa! All of my wants were addressed, with some being improved upon: extra cushioning where I specified, no fabric seams at certain places, a pull-out sofa bed mattress that _completely_ shields the metal bars of the mechanism when sleeping, the extra (unusual) depth of the sofa cushions and the incredibly solid framework (which I did not want to feel at all) is padded-over nicely. I then left the fabric choices of throw pillows, feet and wood colors to her. Upon delivery, I was extremely happy. Nicely done! Just like 15 years prior, I also wanted an ottoman. I left it to Abby to suggest leather and wood colors that complimented the sofa, the floor and the walls. I also have a small living room with limited walking space around the ottoman. I gave her my living room dimensions and then leaned on her to work out the ottoman's footprint so as not to feel constricted when walking around it. I also had her add a drawer for my remote controls to my specifications. Once again, I am very pleased with the result. Her final suggestion was an area rug to tie it all together. She knew the type of "feel" I would want in it and the sample she had convinced me on the spot. At 48 years old, i can't believe i waited so long to buy my first rug! In the end, I have no doubt that it worked out FAR better than if I were to buy off-the-shelf pieces at various stores. Abby really made it work. She listened to my needs, was able to replicate an unusual sofa that was no longer made and make my restricted living space all warm, cozy and functional. I'm now at the point in my life now where I'm DONE buying things twice. From now on I want stuff that will outlast me, perform well and look and feel great. I leaned on her Abby's wisdom many times and placed a lot of faith in her that it would be... Just. Done. Right. It was, and so it is easy for me to give Abby my highest recommendation.

Abby has a strong understanding of design and her taste is impeccable. She has a vision and works closely with her clients to develop a unique design scheme for them, understanding their likes and dislikes. I have worked with Abby for many years. She understands budgets and timelines and can work with clients on different projects. Her sense of style makes the result exceed expectations and the process as seamless as possible.

We are so thankful to have met Abby Rose and to have worked with her over the years. A few years back we stumbled upon her shop, Architexture in Studio City, and purchased a few items at that time. Thereafter, we found ourselves going back to Abby time and time again to get her very practical advice on several other smaller projects. Then last year we underwent a major renovation of the entire downstairs floor of our Sherman Oaks home so we already knew at that point who to work with to simply our lives. Abby has been an amazing help with that whole project, from custom furniture, to guiding us with fabric choices to helping us with the art work involved. Certainly, our association with Abby has not only increased the value of our home but also has undoubtedly helped us avoid some very costly mistakes. Even more important, as two professionals with demanding jobs, she has saved us so much time! I also particularly respect how she backs up every opinion with a very thorough, sensible and practical rationale. We would highly recommend Abby to anyone needing help improving their home.

Abby was simply amazing! My husband and I had wanted to "update" the look of our den and went to Abby's store. We then arranged a meeting with Abby to come to our home and within an hour she totally understood our style. We love our new den and never could have achieved this without the help and guidance of Abby.

I've bought many pieces of furniture and accessories at Architexture, Abby Rose's store in Studio City. I have also utilized her on a consulting basis to advise me on various design issues over the past 20 years. Two years ago, she designed custom sofas for our living room, the most comfortable pieces of furniture in our home. Most recently, she oversaw the design process for a new powder room, our most extensive and comprehensive project to date. Overall, I appreciate her eye, her sensitivity to cost, her ability to appreciate her client's personal style, her immediate responsiveness, and her truly collaborative style.

I just remodeled my son's playroom and bathroom. This was my second remodeling project with help from Abby. She found those adorable carpet tiles -- and recommended them because they're so practical to clean or replace. She's smart, professional and super knowledgable about all things design. Best of all, she quickly grasped my decorating tastes and what makes me feel comfortable in my home. She is remarkable with color -- understanding it, envisioning how it will translate in a space and finding just the right shade to complement your existing rooms. I also love shopping in her store, she's got a great eye and always takes the time to help you make the right choices. She's touched nearly every room in my house and I won't do another job without her!

It was great working with Abby. We had a small project, basically designing around existing pieces and Abby was amazing. She looked at what we had and chose the perfect chairs, fabrics and other items to perfectly complement what we had. She is responsive and timely. We liked her so much, we're now working on another room.
