Working with Classic Homeworks has been a fantastic experience, which is why we've trusted them with multiple projects. They first remodeled the kitchen in our previous home, and we were so pleased with the results that we hired them again for our current residence. This time, they completed another full kitchen remodel and built a beautiful front porch. Their team is professional, and the quality of their work is outstanding. We wouldn't hesitate to use Classic Homeworks for any future projects and highly recommend them!

We were paying clients of this company and spent many months working with them on a sizeable remodel we wanted to do on our historic home. For numerous reasons we were severely disappointed during the process and did not make it to construction. We have since moved on to a different firm and wish we had done this sooner. We do NOT recommend working with Classic Homeworks.

Completely remodeled my basement to create a beautiful living space, including a new bathroom. Even though they went through 4 major personnel changes, project was completed on time and on budget. I really liked the design build concept. Easier for me to keep track. I got exactly what I wanted.

Classic Homeworks remodeled our 1st and 2nd floors including a kitchen and 2 baths. Because the architect, construction crew, subs, and design person were all included, the year-long process was much smoother than expected. They were attentive to the age of the house (1906) and to the fact that we lived in the basement during construction. They listened to what we wanted and offered some excellent ideas as well. Despite some turn-over in project managers, Classic Homeworks managed to stay on schedule and provided excellent craftsmanship and customer service. I would recommend them for anyone looking for quality work in a one-stop shop.

I contacted Classic Homeworks several months ago regarding our goal of adding a second story and a complete remodel of the existing home. An initial appointment was scheduled and I met with one of their representatives for nearly 2 hours. I have put several years of thought into this remodel. I had a boundary survey performed, and even had some preliminary floorplans for them as a starting point. My best case scenario timeline even matched up with their availability. Their representative left here that day with plans to do some very, very rough numbers at which point we would commit a small amount of money to have a designer draw some more detailed plans which would yield a better grasp of total costs. I shared everything with my wife and we were excited to get the ball rolling. One month later, I have yet to hear from them. I even called them to inquire about this, but heard nothing. I am not sure what scared them away, but I feel like I wasted not just my time that day, but also the time wasted waiting for them. If they can't follow up on a potential $600k- $750k job, then I doubt you'd have luck with a kitchen remodel.

The lockbox is long gone but the excellence is still showing up. We liked pre planning with Paul and Dana. Their comment was let's look at everything and anything you might want. Put it up on screen and then we were able to decide clearly where we wanted to go. Project was handled by Matt and he was so good at getting back to us and we could tell he really knew what he was doing. Subs for most part were great. Our trim man Dave was a real pleasure to work with. He custom made our tv big cabinet and to boot he is an excellent tennis player! See you all on the next phase of our remodel!

I recently contracted with Classic Homeworks to construct a new carriage house that would include a garage with a full apartment above (aka Accessory Dwelling Unit). While we're still very much in the early stages, I've been very impressed with the level of professionalism with the CHW team. They've been incredibly responsive, on point, and have partnered with me to ensure my design ideas and preferences are incorporated into the end product. I met with several design/build firms, and they were by far the most personable, collaborative, and professional. I'd highly recommend them for your home needs.

Classic Homeworks did a complete remodel and addition on the first floor of our home, which was built in 1892. The design process was very detailed. The work was done in a timely manner with very good communication. The workers were polite and respectful. Any concerns were thoroughly and thoughtfully addressed to our satisfaction. The end result is beautiful.

Classic Homeworks is a highly professional design/build firm. Their staff works tirelessly to deliver a quality product and we are thrilled with the results of our extensive renovation. They have the experience to execute on large and complicated jobs and do so with style.

Our remodel journey began in January of 2012, when we contacted, Paul Fread at Classic Homeworks, to discuss relocating the stairs, from the kitchen area, to the center of the house as well doing a complete remodel of the basement. In the design phase, we added to the project; an upstairs powder room, and a walk in master closet, in addition we opened up the kitchen, and reworked a second bedroom. Regarding working with Classic Homeworks our "Dream Team", we loved them all! Paul and Brynn, a talented design team, designed our 1100 square foot, basement to include two bedrooms with egress windows, one full bath with pocket doors, a powder room, a family room, a storage room, a wine cellar, and a laundry area. The basement was completely gutted, including the removal of the old concrete floor and a few inches of dirt, to gain ceiling height. Brynn and Paul presented us with several amazing design layout options to meet our goals, budget and lifestyle. Within a few months our design and layout were complete. Once construction began Brynn and Rachel took us on buying trips to select tile, bathroom fixtures, cabinets, paint colors, and flooring. They saw our project through to completion, providing design support when needed. Construction began in June of 2012, lasting approximately seven months. Our project could have been completed in less time however; we requested the upstairs be completed ahead of the basement, as we were hosting a pre-wedding dinner, in our home, at the end of August. With Christian as our project supervisor he worked a scheduling miracle and in three short months, our main level was party ready! Regarding Christian, he is simply a pleasure to work with, besides being a nice person, he is hard working, excellent at communicating, and scheduling and continually delivers exceptional customer service. He pays attention to detail and expects excellent results from all subcontractors. In addition to being a talented designer, Paul manages all of the financial, and contractual aspects of the project, his management of our project, provided us with the ability to sleep well at night. Overall, we truly appreciated Classic Homeworks professionalism, ability to listen, attention paid to details, communication, customer service, willingness to work within our budget and timeframe. The use of a contract, payment schedule, written change orders, and construction timeline provided security and trust. All of the members at Classic Homeworks were easy to reach and responded quickly to questions. When we made changes, we were fully aware of our options and what the associated costs would be prior to the work beginning, also changes were done in writing via a change order. We were given a timeline graph, which we hung on the wall, so we were able to follow the anticipated construction schedule. We feel extremely confident in our recommendation of Classic Homeworks. Top design build firm that has the best design, management, and follow through in central Denver. They are great to work with and the team is awsome.
