We used EBL to provide us with sleek, modern European cabinet solutions for our Kitchen, Family, Laundry, Master and Guest Rooms. They did not disappoint. From the informed initial consultation, to on site visits to the expert installation of our beautiful Snaidero cabinets, the team at EBL gave us great inspiration and solutions for each space. We are thrilled by the quality of our Italian cabinets and how they set the tone for each room. The style and materials work perfectly in our contemporary home. In December 2018 my wife and I were looking for a beach condo in Naples, FL. We quickly discovered to get what we wanted we would have to buy a unit and remodel it. In Naples, finding a builder who delivers what is promised and on time is a daunting task. Remodeling a high-rise condo with all the time and space limitations makes that even a greater challenge. We found a condo that had "good bones" and our real estate agent knew of EBL's work in another condo in the same building. Before we made a purchase offer, we spoke to Paul, EBL owner, and quickly felt at ease. We visited the unit EBL remodeled in our building and, with strong referrals from several folks regarding EBL's work and character, we purchased the condo and started the remodel process. EBL exceeded our expectations in every way. Melissa and Audrey helped us select all the materials and colors in their beautiful design center. They had recommendations ready, so that process, which we dreaded, happened quickly and without stress. Construction started the very day they promised it would and the remodel was completed on time. Most importantly, we are over the moon with the final product. The workmanship is near perfection and the materials used are the very best, from cabinets to paint. Six months after completion, we still wake to our beautiful contemporary condo and are wowed by it! EBL is responsive, honest and works hard to exceed expectations. This was nearly a complete gutting of a 2,000' high-rise with ample opportunities for cost and time overruns. EBL delivered on time, on budget and without stress. EBL Partners is the most professional and knowledgeable design/build firm in Southwest Florida. Having spent the past 30 years of my career as the principal and owner of a high-end custom design/build firm working with some of the most demanding clientele in the Washington DC and Northern Virginia market, I can tell you first hand that I am very familiar with how the construction and remodeling industry operates. Given my experience and understanding of the industry with all its “Murphy’s Law” factors looming at every corner, one can appreciate my anxiety level to even consider a simple kitchen remodeling project - having just purchased an older condo in beautiful Southwest Florida. The added factor of limited time to manage the project - combined with the distance factor and not to even mention that, based on the HOA rules, construction can only take place between May 1 and Oct 30th - this was a huge challenge and undertaking. I didn’t think it was possible as I am a control and details freak unless I was here full time. Additionally, I had no connections with any tradesmen, suppliers or sub-contractors to reference. This was uncharted waters for me. By chance, I had voiced this concern to our realtor who mentioned that they were also in the midst of renovating their kitchen - purely by coincidence they had invited me for a visit to see what their project was about. It was there that I first met Paul Benson, principal of EBL Partners. Not to sound like a cliché but, within minutes of meeting him, I knew he was going to do our project too. I had the opportunity to pick his brain a bit by discussing how he was planning on resolving some challenging issues they had which was going to completely transform the entire first floor of their existing typical builder spec house into a super modern master piece by removing some key load bearing walls and re-orienting plumbing stacks. This was not just a simple kitchen remodel where you just replace cabinets and install new tops and appliances - it was so much more - capitalizing on the opportunity to gain maximum affect within the limited allowable areas of space. I knew then that no matter the design, budget or scope of work – his fresh perspective to problem solving was aligned with mine. We currently own 3 properties now - all in the Naples area and I cannot imagine myself working with anyone else. Paul and his team are super professionals with an eye for finding and resolving small problems before they evolve into bigger issues - the ones where any typical builder might ignore and avoid until they got out of control and left few if any viable solutions later on. The kind of problems which forces one to settle for less. I have seen this happen all too often where the home owners wish list gets whittled in favor of the builder’s time line or ease and simplicity of detail. At no point, did we ever feel this way with EBL Partners. Our kitchen project in the condo was in full swing when, Murphy’s Law delivered to us a huge punch in the gut: Hurricane Irma. Irma destroyed our condo - flooding it from the inside out (water intrusion through the sliders). As sad as this was to see and experience, in a strange and tragic turn of events - it actually provided us an opportunity to completely transform our entire condo and elevate it to a new standard of clean elegance. Paul worked very closely with us and interfaced with our insurance provider to make sure that our interests were safe guarded seamlessly through the entire process. Further, during a time when all of Naples was so deeply affected by Irma, all builders and trades were scrambling to collect as much work as possible -spreading their crews thin – taking on as many contracts as possible. Our project did not suffer nor did we ever get placed on the back burner. The transformation of our condo was magnificent, thanks to EBL, their trades and partners. I have never written any reviews before of any kind - for anyone, however, when we recently had some out of town guests visit and witness the final product after all that had happened - seeing it through their eyes and revisiting the transformation – this solidified exactly what I needed to say – the honest truth. We have a beautiful home now which makes us feel like celebrities each and every time we go through the front door. Thanks to Paul Benson and all the hard-working people at EBL Partners – this would not have been possible.
