It was such a great experience working with Evan, Jay, and the whole team at Evolo Design. Everything from the design process to the implementation was wonderful. The team was very thorough and any issue that came up was handled quickly and painlessly. I can't speak highly enough of their design acumen and luxurious taste in the details. They made renovating our entire first floor with two little kids as easy and seamless as possible. We would recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their space.

Evolo Design is TOP NOTCH. I had the pleasure of working with Matt and Jay on the renovation of my kitchen. They were easy to work with and extremely professional. They understood my design esthetic and provided a finished product that was not only beautiful, but was ON BUDGET and ON TIME. Matt Byers, of Evolo Design, designed our kitchen remodel. At the outset he was in tune to our modern aesthetic. It definitely was a collaborative effort. The whole kitchen was gutted and extra support beams were needed. He provided us with a very accurate estimate with every detail outlined, so there were no surprises. The contractors he used were very respectful and professional. Matt was on top of every aspect and his attention to detail is very evident in our design. We had our concrete countertops designed by Jeff Robinson of Counterevolution, another artisan who does amazing work. We have been so pleased with our kitchen and would highly recommend Matt from Evolo and Jeff from Counterevolution!

Interior Designer - Jay Takach Jay was my interior designer when he was in Columbia SC. When we moved into a new home in 2006 he created the interior design plan. In 2012 I wanted to replace the living room and den furniture with new sofas, chairs, lamps, rugs and paint. We communicated via SKYPE and Jay created a design plan for both rooms. All pieces were shipped to a local moving company. Jay personally installed all pieces. Jay is personable and ensures your design plan matches your design taste. I would recommend Jay to anyone anywhere.

Our experiences in remodeling various aspects of our home since purchase in 2002 had been so mixed, we were reluctant to even begin the remodel of our master bath. The Evolo Design team far exceeded our expectations in every way. They initially met with us in our home and after the site inspection, requested our thoughts on the design. Within two weeks, we met again at their offices where they had already provided some preliminary layouts. We did make some changes and then, met with Matt and Sarah shortly thereafter to approve the design and then moved on to the various features we wanted to incorporate such as glass shower with multi level functions, air tub, and individual vanities. The layout was confirmed so next we chose from a selection of tile, tubs, and fixtures that conformed to our proposed color scheme right at the Evolo Design office! It was all so simple ! Once we agreed on the plans, Matt set a date for bidding out our project! A few hours set aside for a number of craftsmen to come to our home to offer their best estimates on each aspect of the remodel. Once the estimates were compiled, we met again for the final pricing and readily agreed on the price which was very, very to close to the estimate we initially received. To ensure that the various contractors had sufficient notice, the start date was set a few weeks out. The best news of all - it all happened according to the day by day schedule Matt provided us. The team provided good protection for the surrounding areas and every workman who entered our home was expected to abide by the rules set down by Evolo. The rules included using the approved entrance, being respectful of the occupant's presence and clean up and disposal of debris every day. Members of the Evolo team were there nearly every day to inspect the progress and there were no surprises! Six weeks from start to finish as promised! It was an awesome experience and we have the most incredible new master bath ever!

The team at Evolo Design have done an outstanding job with our project. My wife and I couldn't find anyone in the city that we felt understood our style & taste until we began working with them. After meeting with one of their designers and sharing photos of ideas we wanted to incorporate into our home, they have continually been on the same page with us and have guided us through the entire process. Not only have they brought ideas and a new vision to the table but they have taken all of the pain & frustration out of the selection process. My wife and I both work and don’t have time to do the leg work of making selections and then creating a flow of all of these items throughout the house. They have made all of the selections and also recommended local vendors or contractors that they trust who can fulfill our needs. It has made what would have been a painstaking process into one we have thoroughly enjoyed.

With two years of working with this entire staff, I have found the entire firm to be respectful and knowledgeable. This appears to be a team that wants their joy of great designs and unique projects to also be shared by each family with whom they work. This is a team that brings new meaning to the term 'eager to please' and it has been satisfying to work with them. No cookie-cutter mentality here, and I like that. This crowd actually hears what you are saying.

Evolo Design really helped me focus in on what I wanted to achieve and offered me great options in differing price ranges. They always showed up when they told me they would and helped me with the entire process...they were great! I knew they would be because my neighbor had used them and had been very pleased. I also was very happy with the reults of their design efforts. I would highly recommend them!
