We had a great time working with Lance and Marcie on our kitchen remodel. They listened to what we wanted and iterated with us to create a design we were excited about. Lance has a lot of relevant experience to draw from and helped us think through many important small details. Additionally, they gave us great referrals for contractors and vendors in the area to see the project through to completion. We're delighted with the result.

If you're looking for a designer to help you with a home remodel, you need not look any further; Lance Stratton is amazing! He helped transform my 1970's Track-Home kitchen/family room into a dream kitchen. I had no idea where to start, and had never used a designer before; frankly, I was a little intimidated to try it. Wow, was I ever happy I brought Lance into the picture! He was a pleasure to work with, so talented, artistic, down-to-earth; full of great ideas, knowledgeable about every aspect of the remodel, and always a calming influence on me as I agonized over decisions. He has incredible artistic talent, not only for drawing blueprints, but also for sketching 3-dimensional pictures of what everything will look like, and where it will go. At one visit, when I was confused about where I would be cooking, he drew a quick sketch (drawing it upside down in front of me so it would be oriented for my view), of me standing and cooking on my new island! If I called Lance with a question, he promptly got back to me. If we made an appointment for him to stop by to check on something, he was always on time. If our contractor couldn't find an engineer to help with a structural plan, Lance had two numbers of excellent ones to call. Every step of the way, Lance was available, patient, and just a super nice person to work with. He helped me pick cabinets, flooring, hardware, appliances; always going through pros and cons, style differences, patiently answering question after question. My kitchen is a dream, simple, elegant, wonderful to cook in; I find myself looking forward everyday to walking into that room, and am so grateful to Lance for helping me realize that dream.

I worked with Lance to completely gut and remodel the kitchen in my home. The kitchen in my house has a very unusual layout, but he was able to create the best design possible for the space. He listened to my input and made smart suggestions that resulted in a beautiful room in my home where we enjoy spending our time. I have now been cooking in the kitchen for a few years, and can confirm that William Ohs cabinets are excellent quality. We cook every day, but the cabinets still look as good as when they were installed. The cabinet installer that he sent was excellent as well, and a joy to have in my home. I strongly recommend Lance for thoughtful design and quality product and installation.

Lance did a great job on our kitchen remodel. We didn't just change cabinets and appliances, we gutted the entire kitchen, moved the sink, closed a doorway - basically a full redesign. Lance guided us through the entire process, was patient with me and my wife's quirky style and friendly disagreements. He offered a seasoned and reasonable response to all of our questions and conflicts....I wanted this, she wanted that....he didn't take sides, he expressed a professional reason and answer to solve all things. Lance came over to our house, assessed what we had, discovered what we wanted and then drew up a couple different design options and let us choose what we liked. We ended up mixing and matching his designs and came up with a spectacular kitchen design. But, Lance did not stop there. He ushered us through all stages of the process, visited when we needed him to verify plumbing and electrical placement and worked well with all of our subcontractors. Lance worked with our appliance vendor and made sure that we had what we wanted and he had all the info he needed to make everything fit perfectly. He recommended the WilliamOhs cabinets and placed the order, managed the entire process, delivery and storage until we were ready to install. Lance also introduced us to a fabulous cabinet installer who did a great job. Like any job, we had some twists and turns but Lance was steady and consistent throughout. I know this sounds too good to be true but I want you to know that I stumbled into his showroom in February 2017, having never met him before. Our kitchen was done and functional for Thanksgiving 2017. Keep in mind, that's a total remodel and we replaced everything....even our dishes. I would certainly recommend Lance Stratton to my personal friends and anybody reading this.

I have worked with Lance as a kitchen designer and me being a construction superintendent for 25 plus years now. When the time came to renovate my own personal kitchen there could be only one option for me for kitchen design and cabinetry. Honesty, integrity and quality was the most important thing for me after being in the residential construction trade for 45 years. Lance filled all three criteria. I operate a Bed and Breakfast Inn and was recently told that I had to make major upgrades to my kitchen in order to continue with my dinner offerings. This was a major setback for me. Within days Lance came to Big Bear and drafted the required plans, figuring out the most efficient way of redoing the kitchen while still making it pleasing on the eye in a Bed and Breakfast setting. He couldn't have done a better job and I highly recommend him.
