Avoid Express Kitchens (also known as New Direct Cabinets) at all costs—unless you enjoy paying for upgrades you’ll never receive. After ordering new kitchen cabinets, the wrong interior materials were shipped not once, not twice, but three times. Five months later, I finally gave up on the radical idea of getting what I paid for. They then graciously acted as though they were doing me a favor by refunding less than half of the upgrade cost. After weeks of unanswered emails and ignored phone calls to their so-called “customer service” department, a supervisor informed me it would take at least two more weeks to receive the refund they had already promised. Apparently, five months wasn’t quite long enough. With enough complaining, they were able to refund my credit card (which I was initially told could not be done). This company came recommended by someone who used them years ago, but I’ve since learned they were sold and are under new management—an explanation that neatly aligns with how far things have gone downhill. Expect circular conversations, chronic avoidance, and zero accountability from customer service if you choose to work with this poorly run operation. You’ve been warned.

Horrific customer service. Sold us poor quality counter top. Delayed a response on their product for months, then after hounding them for an answer they told us there is nothing they can do.
