Mike did an awesome job on my house remodel his workers were clean and did a good job I had my whole house painted inside a flooring done through the whole house and a total kitchen deconstruction and new cabinets countertops time on the job was eight weeks which is exactly what he estimated I would recommend him to do any work for anybody at any time was great working with him

I would not recommend Michael E. White for any construction project. He is a good salesman and an absolutely horrible contractor. There is nothing to be gained by going into the horrible details. Choose a quality contractor who knows how to do the job, on budget, and on time. White did not do what he said, did less-than-quality work when he did work, communicated important information and job status poorly, and only had two employees spread between many kitchen remodel jobs. I could not be more unhappy with White.

RATING: 3+: Mike White: Mike’s project included tear down of the entire kitchen, bathroom, removal of the family room picture windows and kitchen window with Anderson replacements, tiling the entire 1st floor, installing quartz countertops, back splashes and quartz island; replacing the baseboards, providing the electrical requirements for the kitchen design, and the plumbing and hanging the old kitchen cabinets in the garage. First of all, I have to emphasize that the final project by Mike turned out well, but there were many frustrations along the way and the entire remodel took way longer than expected as a result. The guys that did the tear down and installed the windows were exceptional. Removing the hardwood floor was excruciatingly difficult, dirty and hot but they persevered. Then came the floor tiling which was 1300 sq feet with 36inch tiles. They sent one guy to complete this job and we had a timeframe to have this completed before they delivered the cabinets. To this day, I’ll never know the truth, but the guy would be late or not show up 1-2 times a week so we would have to call Mike’s office to report it as they had no idea this was happening (or the guy was being pulled to another project). As a result, it took 21/2- 3 months to get the tile done which was extremely frustrating. The tile guy also did not clean up after himself. There were communication problems along the way re: correct placement of the electricity which resulted in holes being incorrectly made in the quartz backsplash. This was a major problem for us, but Mike and Karlyn @ Brooklyn Stone came up with a great solution to camouflage those spots and the finished project is beautiful. We identified the major issue with Mike White and were honest with him re: taking on too many projects, as well as pulling guys from one project to work on another, not having a project manager to keep tabs on the workflow, and to be available for his guys to handle problems. Mike informed us that he has taken on Karlyn as his project manager. I hope in the future that his projects run more smoothly.

This contractor made a mess of my bathroom project, he stole my door, he destroyed some of my supplies, and unjustly placed a lien against my house -- which has since been completely removed. We fired him.

Mike directed a Herculean renovation of our home during the summer of 2019, completing the project on time in six weeks, within budget. He was always very professional, honest, and transparent in his dealings with me.

We hired Mike after a neighbors recommendation. He and his assistant Tia came out to see what we wanted to do to remodel our small badly designed kitchen, to one that was more workable. When he sent us the estimate it wasn’t much more than others we’d gotten. They really listened to what we wanted and the estimate had everything on our wish list and also had better suggestions than we got from any of the others. All his associates were very professional and good people, The professionalism, quick responses to any of our questions and the time it took to get it all done so beautifully, we can recommend his company with the highest degree of satisfaction!

Mike and his crew did a great job on our large Master Bath remodel. We enlarged our shower, replaced a large old Jacuzzi bathtub with a freestanding tub, refaced our vanity with new doors and drawer fronts, new Samsung countertops with integral sinks, new tile floor throughout, shower tile and glass shower door. Mike's crew were very knowledgable and experienced craftsmen. I have used Mike again to retile another bathroom floor. Definitely will use his services again.
