Eden Projects

I had a bad experience with this company earlier this year. I was not and am still not satisfied- I was looking for guidance and support to incorporate my 40+ plants & pots into our rather disorganized preexisting front and back yard gardens. For $2000, I expected, a design involving front and back gardens along with pot placement/garden bed design idea assistance. In the end, I received a 'Discovery Visit'- which basically reviewed the pre-existing gardens. I signed a contract(mistake) & subsequently received a computer generated design of front garden bed(nothing of the back yard) --a design that didn't use any of my pre-existing plants-despite the fact that we discussed this on the Discovery Visit day- When I reminded Eden Project of this, I received a paper sketch of front garden, nothing of backyard. Followed by repeated invoices & threats of sending my outstanding bill to collection agency.

(I had a vague idea that I no longer wanted a lawn and Danée turned that vague idea into a beautiful garden that reflects exactly what I wanted. With her expert help, I now have an oasis teeming with pollinators and I will be eating thimbleberries from my garden next year. I now love walking down my front path and I couldn’t be happier with the result! I highly recommend Danée and Eden projects for thoughtful outdoor transformations)

My husband and I have used Danee Lambourne since 2018. She had designed a plan and worked on our garden at our cottage to make it look natural, clean and with the right plants for the location. Danee is very knowledgeable, dedicated and loves her work. She is a very passionate gardener and always gives her best opinion of what she believes would be a perfect fit for your garden. However, in the end she leaves it up to the owner to make the choice and not force her opinion. At our lakeside cottage, after first asking us what’s our favorite plants, she created the right look of beauty and tranquility . She shopped for the best prices and healthiest plants she could find, and knowing the plants’ needs , would place them strategically to nurture their health and growth. Where we were unfamiliar with the proposed plants, she would explain to wait and see how the plant would fit, grow and what to expect. This has always been very interesting as it was a challenge to have to wait for the result but we just love that process. Danee is a fantastic multi-tasker and is always available to answer questions about our concerns. Her knowledge has proven to provide us with a very appealing result. When we decided to sell our house, we knew we had a liability: the landscape had gotten away from us.
