We had an amazing experience with Green Side Up Contracting and couldn't be happier with the final result. Jay and Rob were incredible to work with. From start to finish, they really looked after us, and it was obvious they genuinely cared about doing the job right. Communication was excellent throughout the project, and any minor issues that came up were dealt with quickly and professionally. They completely transformed our backyard by removing our old deck, fence, and cracked concrete around the pool, then installing a new pool liner, coping, interlocking, sod, and new plantings. The quality of the work is outstanding, and we're absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out (see the photos!). We would definitely use Green Side Up again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality landscaping and pool renovation work.

Green Side Up did a fantastic job on our pool renovation. After shortlisting them from a group of 6 other contractors and meeting with some prior clients, it was plain to see that their past reviews were well deserved. Their estimates and project plans were thorough and detailed. Their people and partners were professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Jay was responsive, accountable and easy to work with. I wanted a "throat to choke" who wouldn't just do what we asked but to provide options and advice and Jay delivered. The quality of the deck work, plumbing and pool liner was excellent. Any of the minor follow up/warranty issues were promptly and competently resolved. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, competitive and service oriented contractor.

Green Side Up Contracting was a pleasure to deal with, from the initial consult with Jay, the owner, through to design, construction and followup. Both crews (stone patio and deck) were professional and easy to deal with, always ensuring the customer was satisfied at each step of the process. Special shoutout to Rob, the onsite manager, for overseeing the work and promptly resolving any issues that arose. The project was completed on time and within budget. We now have a beautifully landscaped backyard to enjoy for years to come!

We began our journey with Green Side Up at the Toronto Home Show. After our design consultation and a review of their online portfolio, we knew we found the right team of professionals for our backyard. We love our high quality new patio as well as the oasis of trees and plants surrounding it. Everything came together in just a couple of weeks and the result is stunning and well beyond our expectations! We were most impressed with the level of integrity and professionalism shown by Green Side Up from beginning to end. They understood our vision and, when we requested a modification to the plan, they made it happen with no fuss. Additionally, they provided a high level of after-care, which demonstrated their commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. To sum up, working with Green Side Up was a fantastic adventure and we are eager to see the magic they will bring to our front yard project next year!

We are absolutely thrilled with our new interlock patio from Green Side Up! They demolished our old wood deck and completely transformed the space. Working with Jay was fantastic – he made the process smooth and stress-free. His team was courteous, efficient, and respectful in how they worked, always cleaning up at the end of each day. Rob also checked in with us on every detail, no matter how small, which we really appreciated. The results exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend Green Side Up!

My experience with Green Side Up Contracting was nothing short of exemplary. From the initial communication when I reached out to Jay, you could tell he valued the voice of the customer and doesn’t push anything onto you. He loves doing what he does and conversations with him were effortless. My parents also mentioned they had the same experience with him and his crew. Even before I accepted his quote, he willingly helped with some cleanup tasks from an earlier project. As for the work, his crew provided me with the same type of experience as I had with him. The quality of the work was evident in the results. The difference between our original fence door and the new ones are night and day, while accommodating everything we asked for, and when we thought we couldn’t seal up our deck to prevent animals from coming in, they managed to seal it up completely, with no difference showing between the deck and the added sealing. Throughout the process, Jay always kept me in the loop, updating me on the progress of the work, when the crew will arrive and if there’s anything I needed to do, which was very minimal. Even though I was not there at the time the work was being completed, when I arrived back at home, everything was flawless and I did not have to do any more cleaning afterwards. If you’re looking for an honest and transparent company who strives for excellence and great customer satisfaction, then I will confidently say Green Side Up is your company.

Jay and his team did an amazing job in our small backyard. With limited space and a sharp grade to the property, he came up with an idea based on our preferences that put together a cosy, sleek and attractive space for us to enjoy! His team was reliable, courteous, and did quality work. Jay was excellent to communicate with. And helped us through the permit process in preparation for, during and at completion. If we ever need to build again in a future home, we are calling Green Side Up!
