Orit Yanai Studio

Orit is one of a kind. She is a master of her craft. She worked with us patiently, making sure the finish was exactly what we wanted, working around ever changing construction deadlines and timetables, she was incredible. Our walls are so gorgeous and they add such depth and texture to the house. Not to mention, Orit is wonderful to work with. She is professional, flexible, efficient and talented beyond words.

Orit was a pleasure to work with. She is a true pro- mastering not only her craft, but also providing valuable advice on colors and materials. She had great rapport with other trades on the job, and she had the owner and designer eating out of the palm of her hand. All work was done in a timely fashion and well within budget. I will not hesitate to hire her again. Project scope: 5000 sqf "high definition" residence. All interior walls were clay based plaster, and all showers were lime based waterproof plaster.

Meticulous, very experienced, added excellent value with her view of what needed to be done, and great color input as well. Has strong views of what is the best way to do things and we are SO grateful we took Orit's advice. Would use Orit again and not shop around. She's awesome. we had a complex and large project. Orit is an amazing artist, and skilled tradesperson. We hired her to finish our new custom home in Los Altos with American Clay as we did not want paint off-gassing inside our home. The look, texture, and feel of Orit's work is stunning. In the end, we are so happy we hired her, not just for the health and aesthetic reasons, but because we are happy to now know her as a friend. Orit's crew's workmanship is top notch, very detailed. She and her crew were incredibly professional and clean. She always communicated when they would arrive/leave each day and when the work would be done. Our builder knew exactly what needed to be done to prepare the job site for her crew to do their work. I have referred Orit to friends and clients with overwhelming positive reviews, and continue to highly recommend her.

Orit Yanai has plastered most of the rooms and ceilings in my house with American Clay's Porcelina finish - as smooth as silk, with subtle sparkles of silica. Orit has also plastered the exteriors of two multi-story buildings with Decolime Fossil finish. Orit is a perfectionist, an artist, a fair business person, and someone you love to have in your house. I can't recommend her highly enough.
