Prep & Paint

We recently hired Prep & Paint to paint our living and dining room as well as 2 halls and a stairway. The house is 70 years old and had old wallpaper recently removed. Prep and Paint did such an amazing job! The walls are now smooth and beautifully painted. You would think they were built yesterday. The painter was punctual and worked so hard for a very fair price. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

Prep & Paint has done numerous colour consulting and painting jobs at our home over the years. Always very professional, and does an excellent job with each project. Knowledgeable, courteous, on budget, very neat and tidy and punctual. A pleasure to do business with.

I recently used Prep & Paint for several projects both inside and outside the home. The process in two bedrooms involved colour consultation, wall/trim repair, prep and painting. The bedrooms were beautifully completed and restored with furniture in place within the estimated time frame. My teenage boys were absolutely thrilled with the results. The whole experience was very easy with minimal disruption to the family. The main bathroom upstairs was a difficult job as the ceiling paint had started to peel in many areas. The prep for this room entailed a great deal of effort and expertise. Again, the results were stunning. The finish on the ceiling was so smooth you would never have known that the ceiling had been in such rough shape. In spite of the terrible condition, time extensions were not needed and we were fully functional within the week. The revitalization of an aged wooden garage door that was peeling and had panels which were starting to separate was a wonderful surprise. After much sanding, bonding, filling and a new paint colour the garage door looks fabulous. We are delighted that a new garage door can be deferred for many years to come. After each project the work space was completely cleaned and restored so in that regard, the projects were effortless for our family. I highly recommend the expertise of Prep & Paint. Getting to know how you live in the space, assisting you with the colour, consultation and explaining the project steps alleviates the element of the unknown and will ensure a smooth and enjoyable transformation of your home.

Misty did an excellent job!! She painted our friends home & it is absolutely beautiful & we asked for her name. She helped me pick the colours, because I am terrible at it, her knowledge of the position of the sun to which direction our living room faced to the depth of colour, what it will pick up, etc. blew me away. Her prep work was amazing & so thorough, very neat & tidy. I have requested another quote from her for our kitchen - loved her ideas for it - I would never have thought of only painting the bottom cupboards in a million years, nor would I ever attempt it. We have never hired a painter before, but I will never paint again, we found Misty's prices very reasonable for all the work she does. Thank you so much. Pat Abramoff

Misty did a beautiful job on the interior and exterior of our home. She has excellent colour sense, keen eye to detail and is impeccable in her work - a true professional. Flexible in scheduling and loving and patient with our little dog...we cannot wait to have her back to do our basement. Our home is more beautiful thanks to Misty!

Mistral Prentice(Misty) worked on 2 painting projects in our home in October 2015 and then again in March 2016. Misty is knowledgeable, professional and her attention to detail is outstanding. We as home owners could not have asked for anything more from Misty and will be hiring her again for our next painting project. Anyone that hires Misty to work on their project will not be disappointed!

Misty has completed several jobs for me and I am very happy with the excellent results. Her prices are quite reasonable and I would most definitely use her again in the future.

Mistral was very thorough in selecting the right paint and prepping all surfaces. She was very helpful in the colour selection process too. The final project is beautiful and professional. Mistral does a fantastic job and cleans up well - she is a perfectionist and respects the client's wishes and property. We are very happy with the results of our project.

She was always on time. Cleaned up after herself every day and did an amazing job! Would highly recommend her. She has painted two of my houses for us and would use her again tomorrow.
