I found Mark by referral on a neighborhood networking site and feel extremely lucky to have found him. He easily handled any project for our home and showed great experience in wood work, plumbing, and electrical. He also does custom furniture and painting. Competence and professionalism are certainly Mark's strengths as an independent contractor. He is extremely conscientious and detail-oriented about his work and will not stop until things are done right. Besides his professional traits I also value his personal qualities. U Studio was well-acquainted and well-coordinated with my interior staging crew, which was one reason for selecting the company. They worked very hard, did an excellent job on everything--both on interior doors and walls, and exterior repairs, colors, and front door--and cleaned up very considerately after they finished their work. They were punctual each day they worked, and did not put off their start date (which I've had issues about in the past with other contractors). Overall, I was extremely pleased with their work, and on top of it, they were nice guys who were very gracious about my pet's curiosity about their tools and materials! My dog loves 'em, and I was able to relax about the project timely finishing. I would work with them again, if I were to remain in SF. I already have recommended U Studio to neighbors, friends, and in particular, friends who are property managers who keep their eyes open for good and reliable vendors. Thank you, U Studio! Mark did a very precise job of building and installing our bathroom cabinets. He is pleasant. He also did a beautiful job on a custom build countertop for our neighbors. If we need painting or cabinets, in the future, I would definitely hire Mark again.
