My name is Jose J Losoya, and I am the owner of Tornado Pest Control, LLC. We are a family-owned company that offers pest control, as well as lawn and tree trimming services for all your home and commercial needs. To tell you a bit about myself, I’ve been in the Pest Control business for about five years and I love what I do. I find this type of work incredibly interesting, I seem to learn something new every day about insects and the local wildlife. Prior to this, I worked in the oil fields for roughly 10 years before I was laid off. When I was given the opportunity to work in the pest control industry, I took it and I haven’t looked back since. In the last five years I’ve found pest control to be my passion, I love doing it and I wouldn’t change a thing about it. My only wish is to be able to turn back time and start at a younger age. As a kid, I would mow lawns and trim trees during the summer with my dad, that was his bread and butter to provide for us as I was growing up, so I learned a lot from my old man. I would say I have about 15 years’ experience in the lawn and tree trimming business and my dad has 40 years under his belt. As I mentioned before, this is a family-owned business so his expertise is available as well. I’m a Certified Applicator by the Texas Structural Pest Control Service in Pest Control, Termites and Commodity Fumigation. I will also be getting three more certifications in Lawn and Ornamental, Weeds, and Structure Fumigation. I make sure to read a lot, take courses, and keep up to date with the pest control world, things change every day in this type of work. What makes us stand out from other companies is that we listen to our clients. We work with clients to offer them the best solution and the best service we can provide for them. Also, one of my favorite sayings is, “Honesty is the best policy,” there’s no need to lie to the customer just to make a sale. Being very vocal, having a conversation, asking “How are you doing”, “How is your day” and giving a smile to the customers tends to make their day and mine as well. In short, I would love the opportunity to provide my services to you. Much like the chance I took on this pest control world, all I need is that one chance to make a lasting impression.
