When we started planning our kitchen remodel, we heard many people's horror stories. Our experience was NOTHING like that. Every single step along the way proceeded smoothly, and every member of the team was great, from Kurt initial visit, through Jordan's setting this up, and on from there. We joked that Alyssa, our designer, knew our taste better than we did. She was thoughtful, responsive, and as pleasant to work with as could be. Stacey oversaw the whole project beautifully, anticipating, checking in, keeping us up-to-date, all with a kind demeanor. Tim was a steady presence as the superintendent of the project. Always kind, always steady, always dependable and responsive. Every subcontractor Harjo brought in to do work did a terrific job. We are enthusiastic fans, and we love our new kitchen, dedicated to the memory of my mom (a facet of the whole project that the Harjo team honored very thoughtfully).

Kurt and the team at Harjo were a pleasure to work with. We came to them with a full-condo remodel project, including a kitchen and two baths, about 1,100 sq. feet. The entire team was excellent--from Linda the project manager, who provided weekly, detailed updates, to Andrew the lead carpenter who did top-notch work. And, best of all, the project came in on-budget and on time! I highly recommend Harjo.

I hired Harjo Construction to do a completely new exterior (all new siding and windows) on my seven unit apartment building in Wallingford, and they did an absolutely fantastic job. I was nervous going into it, worried about the impact to my tenants and complications managing tenants through the process. But Harjo has a lot of experience working directly with tenants. It was super convenient for my property manager and I, and they handled it beautifully. I was also nervous about having the building envelope open during weather, but Harjo had a plan and executed it went well. They kept the building dry, and even did some urgent late night and weekend adjustments during rainstorms. Their communication skills were flawless, and they managed the timeline and budget perfectly. They were responsive and I always felt well informed. They also had to deal with a few frustrated neighbors and tenants at a few points and managed it efficiently and professionally. Overall, Harjo demonstrated professionalism every step of the way, and I would love to work with them again.
