Alicia understood our taste and executed it beautifully! She took care of so many details with contractors that we could not have begun to do as we were out of state. She was thorough with confirmation and her attention to details were impeccable! We love our home and the job she did with it!!

I actually had a hard time picking a project date for this review. Alicia has been helping me transform my home over the past several years. Starting back with our first project of my front/sitting room, where I had started the project and got stuck, so Alicia had to come in and save it and show me how to finish the room...I still love that room. (note the project timing is now since we just finished the dining room, however the cost is cummulative to all the projects over the past couple of years) Alicia has a great ability to listen to what her client is looking for and understand their particular style, so she creates a space that fits them and truly makes them happy. She is also so enjoyable to work with and she really cares about her clients. I am not the easiest client to work with as I love interior design, but have no training in it and can be very particular. Alicia does a great job of taking my crazy thoughts and turning them into reality (well, something much better). In home construction/design, there are many variables out of a designers hands (vendors issues, shipping issues), so at times things do not go right (from tile arriving cracked, to broken beading on a new chair). Alicia takes ownership of those things quickly when they happen and works tirelessly to have the issue fully corrected at no loss to her client. I have seen her really work some magic over the past couple of years. Not only do a recommend Alicia, but I will continue to work with her for years to come...just started on the next project...the kdis bathroom!

Alicia worked with me to design a beautiful enhancement to my living room by adding mirrors, draperies and recommending lovely furniture. She also assisted in choosing colors and furniture placement for the master bedroom. I found her easy to work with and accessible when I had questions.

Alicia is amazing. From the start, she understand exactly what we were looking for and was able to deliver the results we were very happy with. She's also very good at getting back to you quickly. I would definitely hire her back for a future project.

Chicago Design Team is one of suburban Chicago's largest and most comprehensive to-the-trade showrooms. Alicia has been an excellent client for several years, which, while it might make us a bit biased, just helps us to know first hand how talented and professional this woman is. From her introductory visit, Alicia had a vision for our home renovation that proved to be...a word that Alicia favors...amazing. Everyone who has seen our home has been wowed. Most important, we as homeowners remain impressed as well! Our project took several months from plan to completion, so we spent a great deal of time with Alicia. First of all, if you can't get along with Alicia you should probably be tested. Aside from personality, she was so flexible with both my wife and I plus the contractor. She took the lead at every corner and if things weren't what we wanted, she made sure that things got changed. She constantly asked us "Is it PERFECT, because that's the only acceptable result". Wow, do you know the pressure you put on yourself with a statement like that? I've always raved about Alicia, and I don't know what words can convey our confidence or the final result, but I honestly cannot picture things turning out better. Bravo, Alicia...we're still in love with our home.

We hired Alicia to help us redecorate our living room and dining room. She helped us with color choices, furniture selection, layout, window treatments and accessories. Alicia has outstanding design skills and a wonderful ability to deal with any challenge. To top it off, she's sweet and fun to work with! We were so pleased with our project that we hired her again to help with our family room and master bedroom. We can't wait to have her back to do our kitchen next!

Alicia Holmes is hands down one of the best interior designers in all of Chicagoland. Not only is she immensely talented and creative, she goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction every step of the way.
