I have built and remodeled 3-5 pools and this is the best experience I have ever had! Justin goes above and beyond and knows everything about the business. He’s honest, hardworking, and gets the job done in the time he says! His work is worth every penny. He won’t leave you hanging like other pool builders, and he won’t build anything that won’t be standing forever! He takes pride in everything he does! I have the best pool! We have pool water massagers, a floating hot tub, twinkle lights built into the bottom of the pool, swim jets for lap swimming, deck jets and more! You can’t go wrong with emerald pools. We are in the very early stages of adding a pool to the backyard. This is our fourth home with adding a pool so we do have some experience. After reading reviews we selected Clif. with Emerald Pools. After only two meetings I was absolutely convinced that his company was the one I wanted. Today we signed the contract and I have absolutely all the faith that Clif. will deliver an excellent result. Our family decided to build a pool/spa this past year. We knew nothing about the process, nor did we have any recommendations. We googled several companies, looked at their galleries and just started calling. Several companies never returned my call, and others talked over my head without even coming to my house. Then there was Mr. Cliff (Emerald Pools). Mr Cliff returned my call and set a time to come over the following week. He took our input and wishes and turned it to something better than we could have ever imagined. The timeframe was right after the winter storm, which caused a delay with getting all the materials. We also had a lot of rain, which pushed back our start date. Once the construction began, Mr Cliff was involved from beginning to end, overseeing the entire process. After every step, he would come by to make sure it was completed to his liking and what we agreed upon. Mr Cliff was a true professional. He communicated via text or call through the entire process and we became good friends. We hired Cliff (Emerald Pools) after interviewing x4 different pool builders in the area. He by far seemed to be the most experienced, knowledgeable, professional, and honest of all. His pricing was very reasonable in comparison as well. He explained the entire process completely prior and worked with us on pricing (including providing a very grateful Veteran Discount). Once the dig started, he led every step of the way, coordinated directly with all sub-contractors, and his communication daily was outstanding. The whole project from start to finish took about a month, which I was so surprised with how expedient it went for such a somewhat difficult project. I highly recommend Emerald Pools and it’s owner Cliff Bechtold. Cliff is not only the owner, he is the customer contact for everything. He is the person I dealt with from beginning to end. I called several other pool builders and was more than disappointed in their lack of communication. Cliff called me back within 24 hours and setup a meeting at my home. He talked to me about what I wanted and what price range I was looking at. The next week he came back with plans and a price that was perfect. Cliff even added a couple minor changes to the design which added much more personality to the overall look of the pool. He made the process stress free because he listened to me when I expressed what I wanted and kept me informed with every step of the process. I was never left wondering when something was going to be done or what subcontractor was going to show up next. When I mentioned to him that we were going to buy a spa, he assisted me with that as well. He brought me my options, I picked out a spa, the interior, the exterior and cover. Cliff took care of ordering it and scheduling delivery. He also showed up when it was delivered to make sure that it was installed where I wanted it and that I understood how it worked. I am more than satisfied with the overall process, communication and the finished product. I have been wanting a pool for a few years and thanks to Cliff Bechtold and Emerald Pools, I have exactly what I wanted!! You owe it to yourself to at least speak with Cliff before deciding on a pool builder.

Cliff Bechtold was a true professional from beginning to end. If I had a question on any aspect of the job I didn't have to chase down a sub contractor, I called Cliff. His attention to detail and eye for design resulted in a pool that was not only unique but functional as well. We had questions after the project was completed and as promised, Cliff helped with service as well.

Being new to this market I had to start from scratch to find a pool builder. I interviewed multiple companies and looked at their work in the area. What I noticed was a commonality in pool shapes and finishes. In other words, they looked very similar. This was not what I wanted. Interviewed Emerald Pools and found them to be very creative in the design process. They provided a comprehensive scaled rendering that contained all elements. Throughout the building phase, this company was extremely professional, responsive meeting all timelines. The Owner was involved in the process from beginning to end. The finished product is a truly unique pool and deck design featuring custom stonework that I have not seen in this market. Highly recommend Emerald Pools.
