Guedes Construction has done two major remodels for me within the 6 months. I would not go anywhere else for any remodel or job need in my home. The reasons are many: their quality of work, their ethics, job promise fulfilled, professionalism, knowledge. These all exceed any I have ever known in a contractor. Initially, I called Rick based on reviews from independent sources and found that now I am thankful and happy to share my positive experiences. To explain the scope of the jobs that they performed for me: In December 2014, master bathroom completely gutted, rebuilt subfloor, new canned lights, accessible tiled shower with glass surround and hinged door, relocated plumbing, new floor covering, plastered ceiling and walls, installed new toilet and 2 sink vanity, 2 coats new interior paint. This job was totally written out with all costs known before project, prompt paperwork on any adjustments we agreed on as job progressed, projected work was performed above industry standard, and the job promise date was fulfilled earlier than initially thought. After this initial major remodel, I need to compliment Rick, Carlos, Jose, and crew from Guedes Construction on how it feels to have them do our work and be in our home on a daily basis. I miss them It was not stressful as I could tell they were skilled at all the jobs they were doing, I could relax and enjoy the transformation when they finished that day's work. They are all great people to be around. They are respectful, non-invasive, protective of the home's surfaces or surroundings that are not in the project. Big, big plus!!!! They do what they say!. They show up on time, give you quality work, finish when they promise. So, when I decided to do my major kitchen remodel in June 2015, I had doubt who I wanted to do the job for me. I know that this is very expensive work to have done. I knew that this money would be well spent having Guedes Construction do the work for us. This remodel was another major demolition and rebuilding with new cabinets, counter tops, subfloor and floor covering, recessed lighting, with a different configuration of cabinets to allow for building in refrigerator to give it a custom look and a new gas oven/range combination. Rick, his dad Carlos, Jose, and Juan all have my applause and gratitude for my new kitchen and new bathroom.

Rick Guedes is a thorough professional that is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of construction. He was on budget and within our deadline. Rick goes over and beyond to keep the environment clean and protected during the construction process...practically unheard of in the industry. This company is a gem!

Rick was on time, very knowledgeable, creative, on budget and provides beautiful materials. All work is done by Guedes Construction, not by subcontractors. They pay attention to details during construction as well such as cleaning the space during the project.

Guedes Construction was originally recommended to me by a neighbor, and I've since gone back to them several times for additional contracts. They've done bathroom remodels, flooring replacement, electrical work and exterior painting for us, and at some point in the near future, will have them replace our roof. They are reliable, responsive and polite. While they aren't the cheapest option out there, you get what you pay for...quality workmanship that they stand behind. I'd highly recommend Guedes Construction.

Guedes Construction provided design, product selection guidance and has coordinated all phases of our kitchen remodel in our 1922 home. They have rolled with our changes, completed work ahead of schedule and been able to offer quality alternates when certain products became unavailable due to manufacturer back orders.
