Houry exceeded our expectations even though she came highly recommended. She was attentive to our needs and wishes, very detailed and was very honest never once led us astray. Clearly very talented as importantly very passionate about her design and truly making our dreams a reality. Emotionally and personally connected with us and the project. We would do the process over again and would whole-heartedly recommend her.

We worked with Houry to renovate our small Hintonburg, Ottawa 1.5 story house that was built c1900. We wanted to maintain the charm of the house, without changing the original footprint, but making it a full 2 story home. Houry did an amazing job of brining our vision to life. Understanding our tight budget, she worked with us to use the existing utilities layout (kitchen and bathroom); found innovative ways to re-purpose our wood beams from the original design; and keep what windows we could. My husband is from the West coast, and Houry managed to capture the west coast design feel he was looking for. Houry also recommended our builder, and the combination of the Houry with RND construction made the renovation process feel seamless and easy (the renovation was completed early and except for unexpected foundation issues, on budget!). Houry went above and beyond to make sure our renovation went smoothly - her attention to detail is truly amazing. Houry is extremely talented and a pleasure to work with.
