Interior designer Janice Connolly brings over 30 years of experience coupled with exceptional creativity and color sense to each interior design project. Her expertise in residential interior design, commercial interior design and hospitality interior design provides a diverse portfolio and flexibility with project needs. On any given day, Janice's projects range from kitchen and bath design, to office planning and design, to selecting artwork and accessorizing, to complete restaurant remodels like the Underground Burger Bar and Hamilton Walkers. Focused on a consultative approach to each design, Janice takes the time to find each clients' personal style and color palate they are most comfortable in and wrapping the design around these elements. Approaching design in 4 layers, Janice starts with the best possible space plan. Building from the space plan she brings the room into a three dimensional perspective, varying furniture and cabinetry heights and bringing lighting into the space. The third layer incorporates color and material selections, customizing visual and textural elements specific to each project. The final element is accessorizing, with the unique perspective of each individual client. Janice is a graduate of the Harrington Institute of Interior Design.

Janice gets to know you and your decoration style. She has ideas and presents her work and herself in a professional manner. She worked within our budget. Janice decorated our basement, master bedroom and bathroom and my daughter's bedroom and bathroom.

We worked with Janice of JC Interiors for several months. Janice designed our master and hall baths and redecorated the master bedroom. She was very professional and easy to work with..she took our vague ideas and created our dream rooms. She oversaw every step of the project and was very attentive. Janice did a great job of simplifying an otherwise overwhelming process, and even made it fun! She patiently helped us choose all the components to remodel 3 bathrooms - floor and wall tile, counter tops, cabinets, grout, light fixtures, hardware. We're thrilled with the results, and would never have had the confidence or skill on our own to create such stunning rooms. She also helped us post-construction choose towels, rugs and other accessories to put the finishing touches on each room. Janice is a joy to work with and we're thrilled to have had her help.

She has also helped me decorate my new home and the compliments from friends and family never cease. She doesn't push her ideas, she gently suggests and works with you, always mindful of your own taste. She has an innate ability to blend things that you love with more current trends. Janice has helped with my remodeling needs for several years. The master bath was the first project. It has a subtle timeless style. Janice presented me with a detailed drawing and and several choices for the materials. I could count on her to be on site to monitor the work. Next was the kitchen, then the sunroom and study. She created a shadowbox depicting my husband's interest in magic and made a wall hanging. The climbing men in the living room are just a hoot and quite a conversation starter.
