Ellie Mroz Design is an award-winning Westfield, NJ-based full service boutique interior design firm offering full service interior design from one room to a full home. We also offer construction consulting with design/build firm Michael Robert Construction. Ellie is a creative gem! She and her husband, Michael, from Michael Robert Construction, gifted a redesigned faculty lounge to the teachers at the high school they attended. It went from a drab room with broken furniture and dirty torn couches to a luxurious, calming, inviting faculty lounge that will make us feel far more appreciated than ever. We will all be forever grateful for their generosity and talent.

Working with Ellie & her team was truly a dream come true. The whole process from start to finish was stress free and fun! She has the coolest style and taste of any interior designer today and she and her team are extremely professional and easy to work with. She transformed my front entryway and family room and we are excited to work with her again this year on our dining room and living room. I cannot recommend her enough!

I viewed Ellie's house during a house tour event and immediately resonated with her style. Unique but classic, elegant but comfortable...so many adjectives describe her aesthetic. Not only did Ellie's decorating talent warrant attention, but her warm personality and willingness to share and inspire was a strong attraction. Our decorating relationship was virtual (thanks to Covid) but it felt like Ellie was standing in the room next to me. She listened closely, quickly pulled up ideas to consider and provided vetted sources so I could do my own research. We have collaborated on paint color, lighting fixtures, wallpaper, hardware and more. I am extremely happy with the end result and I heartily recommend Ellie for a wonderful decorating experience! Oh, and did I mention she her response time is AMAZING?? A rarity these day!

I had a virtual zoom with Ellie to explore options for my pool area, storage room, patio, and the outdoor space in total and it was so helpful! Ellie was able to immediately describe options for furniture and the best way to utilize pieces I already owned. She would even share her screen and show me websites and examples of what she was explaining would look good in certain areas. The call was only supposed to be an hour but she stayed on extra time to finalize our conversation and she even ended up helping me with a few suggestions for my master bedroom! I highly recommend setting up a virtual call - it felt like she was in person with me walking the space.

Hiring Ellie for her Design Therapy consulting service was a great decision. I hired her specifically for help with a tricky open concept space - and with her guidance now have a look that I love. Ellie's other tips enabled me to rethink all of my spaces and I continue to make tweaks, improvements and changes. While I love interior decorating, I truly needed an expert like Ellie to open my eyes to new possibilities. Her ideas put me on a new design journey!

Finding Ellie was like finding that special gem. She helped us transform our family room into the room we have always wanted. We described our dream and Ellie made it a reality! Not only did she pick out gorgeous pieces of furniture, she also styled our home to perfection! She is incredibly creative, knowledgable and patient and I highly recommend her. Ellie was incredibly patient and kind to us. We actually spend a brief amount of time speaking to several other decorators but knew the minute we spoke to Ellie that she was right for us. We know nothing about interior decorating which made her job even harder. However, she was able to guide us through her process and help us find things we didn't even know we were looking for. Most impressively, she helped identify our 'style', which we weren't even aware of, and was able to decorate our home in a manner that made it feel like 'our house'. Wonderful person, clearly gifted, ultra-patient, and will most certainly be back in our home to help us continue making our home wonderful.
