We hired this crew for a full exterior repaint and couldn't be more satisfied with how the project went. We ran into delays on our end due to HOA approval taking longer than expected, and they were incredibly flexible and accommodating throughout the whole process — responsive every step of the way and never made us feel like an inconvenience despite the unpredictable scheduling. When it was time to actually get to work, everything ran like clockwork. The crew showed up exactly when expected, stayed organized on-site, and cleaned up thoroughly each day. Beyond the painting itself, they also replaced a significant number of cedar boards that needed attention before the work could begin — that kind of thoroughness made a real difference in the final result. They took real care with the prep work — all windows were properly taped off, and there wasn't a drop of paint on the deck or anywhere it shouldn't be. It's also worth noting that our house presents some real challenges — the backyard has steep drop-offs that make access and setup significantly more complicated than a typical exterior job. They handled it without issue and the pricing was reasonable for the scope and quality of work delivered. If you're looking for painters who are professional, communicative, do excellent work, and price fairly even on a difficult job, I'd recommend them without hesitation.

Having worked with multiple remodelers and contractors on two different houses, Charlie Griffey is by far the best I've ever worked with. I have high expectations, and Charlie exceeded every one. Charlie had workers at my house every day (including some weekend days) during my project and communicated with me (unsolicited) on a daily basis. This is unheard of for a contractor. Furthermore, his subs do great work. Charlie was not satisfied until we were completely pleased. He even called later after the project was completed to make sure we were happy. He had recommendations for me that I was hesitant to pursue, but he ended up being spot on. Furthermore, we encountered a delay (in shipping--not Charlie's fault), and Charlie remedied the situation himself in order to stay on track. I cannot say enough good things about Charlie's communication, professionalism, efficiency, or attention to detail.

We contacted Griffey about a master suite renovation. We had a pretty long wish list, and not a lot of space to work with! Griffey won me over with his creative space planning, proposing a reconfiguration of the hallway and office in order to maximize our space. We even squeezed in a brand new half bath! Vicky was a great help in selecting appropriate finishes that balanced my style, budget, and the character of our 100-year-old home. I was happy with the communication throughout the process, and they finished nearly on time (one week late on a 10-week timeline). Most importantly, I love the finished product!

We contacted Griffey Remodeling to discuss a kitchen remodel. The owner came out to meet with us to talk about the project. He was going to follow up with the city about permits and get back to us. We never heard from him again.

I worked regularly with Griffey Remodeling, assisting them with selections and ordering tile and stone. They are very professional, creative and detail oriented. Quality and Expertise is the norm for them. You cant' go wrong when you use them.

Finished approximately 1200 sq ft of an unfinished walk out basement with many upgrade features including wood beam ceiling, brick walls, wainscoting, chandelier, 5.1 surround sound, brick and wood columns, etc. to the quality standards consistent with the rest of an upscale house. The primary contact during the entire process was Charlie Griffey, the owner of the company. Charlie's attention to detail is amazing. It seems important to Charlie that his design is well executed. Getting it done right is more important than just getting it done. Every brick, every tile, every beam was perfectly centered and care was taken to match materials with the rest of the house.

Our kitchen was in severe need of a complete makeover. The transformation from before to after was amazing. Our kitchen went from the eyesore of the house to the centerpiece of the whole house. We were extremely pleased with the final product. Charlie was easy to work with and very responsive throughout the process.

Our design company, Couture Design & Staging, has assisted Griffey Remodeling on many of their renovations. We enjoy working hands on with the owner from start to finish on every project. We have a great creative relationship and the clients are always amazed with seeing their new space to it's fullest potential. The before and after pictures speak for themselves but beyond the pictures Griffey Remodeling's customer service is just as impressive.

My wife & I recently moved back to Columbus from St. Louis, Mo. We purchased a detached Condo that had a finished basement area. Prior to us moving into our new home, we hired Griffey Remodeling to install a wet bar & fireplace in the finished basement area. Charlie Griffey did an excellent job helping us design the home improvements. Overall, his team performed quality work in completing the project in a timely manner. Kevin, the project manager paid great attention to detail & kept us informed. We were very satisfied with the quality of the work & felt the pricing was reasonable. Most of the work was performed while we were still in St. Louis. We felt very comfortable with them being on site without us present. If we have another project, we will use them again.

From the initial meeting to the finished project, we were impressed with the attention to detail and the quality workmanship exhibited by this company. Every attempt was made to accommodate our design specifications, even when we proposed changes to the original plan. A design team was provided to us for assistance with cabinetry, countertop and lighting choices. That was a huge help due to our busy schedule. Every worker that entered our home was very respectful and took great care to avoid any damage to the existing wood flooring. There were a few glitches, as there always are with a project of this size, but every issue was resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. Company personnel were very approachable and responsive. We plan to use this company again for a remodeling of our bathrooms. They are honest, reliable, conscientious, and provide quality work.

Working with Griffey Remodeling is fantastic. Charlie has a solid knowledge base that allows him to intelligently design a home, regardless of the existing conditions or what may seem like limiting parameters. His crew is very professional, and projects are always top notch.
