Working with Liz was wonderfully stress free. She came to my house to measure furniture for slip covers and cushions. We talked about the best fabrics for each piece and Liz gave me 3+ recommendations for where to get the material. The cushions and slipcovers were beautifully made and look great. Her work is top notch and she has very innovative ideas for attaching cushions for the best look. The hardest part of the project was me trying to pick out material! I would not hesitate to use Liz at Daybreak Workroom again and recommend her highly.

Liz from Daybreak Workroom recently completed a set of slipcovers for my sectional sofa and a side chair. There is a lot to love about this process. First, Liz came to my house to make the patterns for the furniture. Not having to arrange for transportation for my furniture made the process much easier than expected. Liz is very knowledgeable about fabric and helped me find a beautiful yet reasonably priced fabric. Most importantly to me, Liz was able to design and make a slipcover that preserved the mid-century modern style of my sofa and chair. Liz even considered the ease of getting the cover for the large chaise cushion off and on and installed a very long curved zipper. Liz has worked in the marine industry and in the tailoring field so she has a great depth of knowledge about fabric, fitting and structure. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend her for any slipcover project.

I found photos of completed slipcovers by Daybreak Workroom LLC on Houzz and contacted Liz with a few questions. We found a mutually agreeable meeting time and she gave me an estimate and advice regarding fabric choices appropriate for my sofa. Liz has the expertise to assess whether furniture is worth recovering, and provided options to extend my sofa's useful life. At my request, she tweaked the shape of the back cushions (stiff and T-shaped) and upgraded the filling materials to give them better style and longevity. She patterned the piece on site so it didn't have to be transported anywhere, and had the slipcover done in what seemed like no time. My experience with Daybreak Workroom was fantastic. Liz is exceptionally skilled (my sofa sits up straighter and looks gorgeous in her perfectly fitted suit) and more than met my expectations in quality, cost, and service.
