We worked with Renovation Studio to build a custom built and designed home. Their attention to detail was above anything I've ever seen. Renovation Studio was brilliant with their design plan and vision and really worked to make our home somewhere we want to be. They encouraged our voices and opinions in making finishing decisions and offered feedback and suggestions as well to ensure we ended up with an incredible home. It feels like we've been on vacation since we moved in. I highly recommend using Renovation Studio for any project, big or small.

I have been hired by Jodi numerous times over the past several years to photograph projects her company Renovation Studio has Designed / Built. Her team is first class and detail oriented. I can attest, as I have personally photographed nearly every detail in every project she has worked on through out the past several years. My photographs of her projects have been used for design and remodeling contests submissions (which she has won), her portfolio and website marketing, and real estate projects (which some have sold on the first day of listing). She is proud of her company's work in so much as to hire a professional such as myself to come take pictures for her portfolio. It seems that each project keeps getting better and better. Hopefully my photographs help future clients see the quality and craftsmanship, down to the details with cohesive colors and fixtures and design elements. The company couldn't even meet the dates they promised for proposal and contract. Missed both, and refused to give references. There would be no way to have confidence in the construction process if they couldn't even handle the paperwork. General unprofessional.

We worked with renovation studio on a major renovation and addition on our 120 year old Victorian in a designated historic area. The whole project took over a year and Jodi and the renovation studio team were extremely helpful in finalizing plans with our architect, assisting at the historic preservation hearings, and ultimately delivering an outstanding project. Jodi is so easy to work with and really got our vision and how we wanted the house to live. She also referred us to excellent vendors for tile, plumbing, appliances, etc and coordinated everything very smoothly. The lead project manager, David, was terrific and we had a great experience with the entire crew. Would do another major project with renovation studio in a heartbeat.

RENOVATION STUDIO opened up our 50+ year-old, saggy, outmoded kitchen and adjoining family room, and transformed the space into exactly what we wanted: a welcoming and functional high-end kitchen that doesn't feel ostentatious. We love it; spend so much time there. It's so comfortable, well-built, and practical, and it's so very pretty. Lots of complements from friends and other guests. When were interviewing companies, RENOVATION STUDIO CEO ( Jodi Longo) seemed to "get" what we were envisioning for our space right away (we'd already chosen a focal point -- creamy/grey/white granite on island and perimeter countertops. So we needed a pro to give us some direction for the rest of the kitchen). What sold us on Jodi Longo (aside from her track-record in the DC- area) was her immeasurable patience, good humor, and wonderful eye for detail. After we signed, we knew we'd chosen well. Jodi orchestrated everything smoothly and efficiently. Work progressed quickly, but we never felt rushed. She and her team communicated well with each other, and with us. They were all in sync with Jodi and her top guy, David -- punctual and professional -- answering questions and calmly solving unexpected problems right away w/o missing a beat: Like their boss, RStudio crews are hardworking, good-natured, and experienced...excellent craftsmanship (example: her tile installers created an understated, beautiful wall of crackled subway tiles in kitchen. They also and took a once-hideous, white-washed stone fireplace, reframed it and turned it into a clean, elegant honed stone work of art that anchors one end of our family room. RStudio delivered on budget and on time( only minor delays due to a cabinet door manufacturing snafoo), and with zero drama!. We've worked with other renovation/design-build companies in the DC area. Our experience with RENO. STUDIO was the best. A joy to work with.
