My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

About Us

Huffman Architects is an architectural design firm in Raleigh, North Carolina that seeks to create mindfully designed space. We pursue design excellence through research, a thorough understanding of site and listening to our clients’ needs. Each situation presents exciting opportunities, whether it's starting from scratch or enhancing something that already exists. Our diverse backgrounds and breath of experience allows our office to work on a range of residential and commercial projects. We are inspired by the potential thoughtful design has to inspire and improve the way we live, work and play.

We have 3 AIA and NCARB registered architects and 1 interior designer. We have many award winning projects, a few are, Kraft Family YMCA, Cary NC, Leesville Library, and Urban Ministries of Wake County.

DHA designed a very extensive renovation to my townhouse, which involved gutting the second floor, converting the attic into a third floor bedroom and bathroom, and adding a balcony and deck. Dan was great at maximizing every square inch in our small space. He was also very conscientious during the entire building process. I love the final result!
