Sited at the rivers edge, in the Southern Virgina mountains, the house is mostly glass to allow unobstructed views into the landscape. This home uses a geothermal system to heat and cool the interior air and provide radiant heat for the stone fl oors. This system also helps to heat the pool. The simple material pallet of wood, glass, steel and stone, refl ect the natural environment that surrounds the house.
