Franisco and Miriam were the perfect team for my build out. They enclosed my carport into a beautiful salon. Their subs showed up on time and worked hard everyday and were super polite. They were only $100 off the bid price which is pretty insane. I could cry everytime I walk into the space. It only took them 3 months!!!

We worked with Francisco and Miriam to completely gut and remodel an existing kitchen (new cabinets, countertops, appliances and a new pantry closet) and to finish a previously unfinished basement with a new bedroom, new bathroom, tv/play area, mechanical/storage area and built-in bookcases. All the work turned out extremely well. FM Studio has a strong team of subcontractors that show up when planned/expected and work efficiently. Most activities were completed the day they started or within a couple of days without long gaps between work. Francisco was good about communicating next steps and what to expect as we moved through the work. As an architect, one of the things I appreciated most about FM studio is that both Francisco and Miriam are also trained as architects--they know how to read and interpret drawings and don't improvise the way many residential contractors might. I'd strongly recommend them for any scale of work--from ground-up construction to any size renovation.

F.M. Studio designed and built our home from scratch. We came to them with a style of home that we liked, and a list of priorities for our family, and they designed a home that spoke to our style preferences while somehow being much more unique and well suited to our family than we could have envisioned. We built in ‘21-‘22 so we experienced some stressful cost hikes and supply chain issues. And yet, we couldn’t be more thrilled with the final result and still feel that we got the most for our money. The craftsmen and women that worked on our house were all top notch. All of the materials are very high quality. The way they were able to imagine the space is something we would not have found with another design/ build. F.M. Studio does not build trendy cookie cutter homes. They design truly unique, inspired spaces that will stand the test of time.

F.M. Studio turned our 1250sf 1920s bungalow into a 3500sf modern bungalow, complete with an in-law suite and a music studio; and, while we are biased, the house is a design/ build masterpiece. The project began in March of 2020 -- just as Covid was starting. Unfortunately, Covid brought immense challenges to the project, including, but not limited to, skyrocketing material costs and considerable supply chain issues. Francisco and Miriam navigated these issues with patience, thoughtfulness, and expert guidance. They provided alternatives to out of stock items, helped us figure out ways to cut project costs without sacrificing our vision, and were consistently available. During the project, Francisco was ever-present at our house to ensure the project was moving along as planned. We knew that we were not the only project that F.M. was working on at the time, but it always felt like we were. F.M. Studios typify design/build professionalism. We would not hesitate to use them again, and we could not recommend them enough.

The F.M. Studio team was a delight to work with. They made what seemed like a very daunting prospect, designing a house, feel like a very simple task. Francisco and Miriam have wonderful design sense and a real boots on the ground perspective on how to translate design into real world structures, including that important consideration of how much things are going to cost! While some economic factors have prevented my project from breaking ground, I'm certain the home F.M. Studio designed for me would have been in perfect in real life as it was on paper.

F.M. Studio designed and built our front porch addition and went above and beyond our expectations. The design was phenomenal and the construction was on time and flawless. We live in a walkable neighborhood and get compliments on our front porch just about every day. We were nervous going into the project, but with F.M. Studio the entire process was a breeze. We highly recommend F.M. Studio to anyone considering doing work on their home.

The Reyes team - Miriam and Francisco - totally re-did our basement and we're so happy with it. They selected many of the design touches, they worked with us to determine our needs as well as to suggest their own, they took care of all permiiting, contracting, design details, work people, and supervision of the work. And now we have a brand new basement that we use all the time to show for it. They were responsive, responsible, professional, and creative. We enjoyed working with them and will DEFINITELY call them again for our next home project. You should too!

If I could give 10 stars I would! My hubs and I bought a super cute 2/1 a few years ago, but she needed a serious upgrade! We were able to work with F.M Studios, not only on adding an extra bedroom and bathroom to our home, but on redesigning the space in the existing home and choosing a particular design style! They are quick, fair, engaged, and dependable. They are the dream team!

Francisco and Miriam were critical partners in 'A Mews House.' As an architect/developer, I knew having a builder who shared a vision for design and quality construction was important for project success. My design was unusual with custom details on a modest budget and a tight schedule. F M Studio completed the project on time within budget and with professionalism. I hope to work with them again on another award-winning effort.

I am an architect with Cognitive Design and F.M. Studio is the best residential contractor I've worked with. In my experience they are attentive, collaborative, and creative partners who are trustworthy stewards of their client's resources - and the quality of their work is second to none.
