After much research I realized when I met David and Tom I had found the right team to build a custom bench from 2 black walnut slabs that have been passed down through my family. It had to be someone with historical preservation experience and an appreciation for the history the wood. The piece is of Museum quality, truly a focal point, the craftmanship, skill, and labor that went into the making of this bench is perfection at its best. My experience with Top Drawer Custom Furniture was outstanding. The owner, Dave, took the time to understand my vision of what I was trying to accomplish, and provided multiple proposals until we agreed on the final rendition. He brought my vision to life. He sought my decisions on many fine points that I had not thought about. He worked with and took the lead with subcontractors necessary to complete my project. My finished kitchen banquette is unique and fits my kitchen perfectly, thanks to his expertise and professionalism. He delivered and installed it as promised. Dave Maniere was a pleasure to work with on both a large bookcase and a ledge for an antiques Japanese screen. He is detail oriented, responsive to emails and questions, and does gorgeous work. All I can say is wow!!!!! I never imagined that Dave the owner of the company would make my small broom closet into a functional modern storage room. Every space between the drawers are absolutely perfect. The carpentry is so refined. I can't stop looking at it. We now are working on plans for him to make a wall unit. i have used Top Drawer Custom Furniture for several small home and work construction projects over the years and have been very pleased with the quality of the service and product. Dave was always available to meet contractors at my home for them to complete their part of the job when my working hours did not permit me to be present. I would use Dave and his business again on future projects.

I contracted with Dave Maniere, Top Drawer Custom Furniture, to design and build a dry bar in my new home. I had an idea of what I wanted; Dave took those ideas and came up with a design that worked perfectly with what I had imagined. His suggestions and tweaks and improvements based on my comments were spot on. Dave also coordinated directly with the supplier of the counter top to ensure a perfect fit and save me the extra effort. The finished product is fabulous and I am thrilled with the style, appearance and functionality. Dave is a professional and was easy to work with thru the project.

Dave is amazing! I found his info on Houzz October 2016 and arranged an appointment with him. I was interested in an entertainment wall unit in exoitic wood. I provided pictures o designs, which he made note of. He sent me a quote in a timely matter. I sat on it fora while and realized that what i was looking for had to be custom. I went back to him with a change in design but not the wood. He was great finding samples of possible veneers, but none excited me. He did not write me off and he found the perfect wood which was amazing. I now have exactly what I wanted and it is beautiful. What I truly appreciate about Dave is his patience and desire to please the customer. A process which started in April, 2016 was completed in May 2017. He kept me informed about the progress of the project and invited me to the shop to check it out. Mostly what I was impressed with as opposed to others I had contacted and received estimates in Naples, is that he followed through and had respect for the customer. I highly recommend him.

We moved from a house we had built to a smaller older construction condo with very little storage space and some architectural challenges. Our best option was to have a series of custom built-ins including a library unit with a trundle bed, media center, and office desk area. Dave took a great deal of time to listen to our needs and our vision.....and step by step he made it all happen! He matched style and color to existing cabinetry. As time went by I asked for a few additional items including storage benches, a corner cabinet, and even a spacer for a new bathroom vanity. Dave always came through on time and within budget; no job was too big or too small. We had other professional contractors in our unit at the time and without exception each one complimented Dave's work. Dave is an artist and pays attention to the smallest detail; his materials and craftsmanship are of the highest quality. He and his team are true professionals in what they do and how they do it. We would go back to him for any future projects and recommend him highly.

I cannot say enough about Dave Manierre of Top Drawer. A certified master furniture maker, Dave is a true artist. He produces gorgeous custom furniture, and delivers it on time.
