My wife and I had extensive working relationship with Vaso in a major renovation project for 7 months. One of promises Vaso made at the beginning was to stay throughout the project till completion. Not only she delivered on that end, but she has been available months after completion helping us select furniture. In 7 months working with Vaso, we came to appreciate her skills with wall colors and flooring, elegant and yet functional kitchen and bath designs, and her extensive network of vendors and exceptional sub-contractors for special finishes. Like most renovation projects, we went over-budget and a few months late, but parenting with Vaso was the best investment we made. Lastly, she is a good friend and always available to come by to share her professional opinions.

I am 90% to completion of an entire gutting and total re-design including bedroom, bathrooms, Jacuzzi, walk-in closet, laundry, back room bar, office room area . . . . . . basically the entire first level which makes up a complete living suite including floating staircase in a 35 year old Diamond Heights three level 2200 sq ft town house across from Twin Peaks in San Francisco. Vaso's availability, response time and follow up including re-evaluation of any issues made a very sophisticated remodel to completion a beautiful reality due to her problem solving capabilities. A very important quality is Vaso's ability to keep details in the forefront. Vaso manages to keep as much as possible happen on schedule. Vaso's work and services come at an incredible value. Vaso's design services are reasonable. Her rates will not give you "sticker shock" as most everything in the remodel world does. Her communication skills and fastidious attention to detail & logic come without ego and emotion (like a femaie version of Dr Spock on the Starship Enterprise) only much more attractive. She is always on time and respects your time. I have used Vaso to shop with me for excellent quality tile, lighting, wet fixtures, flooring, cabinet makers, carpeting, curtains, natural stones and built in appliance show rooms. She can put all the textures & beautiful color combinations all together & make it fit beautifully. Organized, flexible, responsive, and insightful -- that is Vaso. We used her on a large home remodel project (4 bedroom, 5.5 bath, roughly 4,200 sf). I highly recommend her. What stood our for me most: 1. She was always prepared, always on time, and always two steps ahead. She would show up to our design meetings with color swatches and fabric swatches pre-marked. She would borrow rugs from the store so we could view the whole palate together. She would have multiple types of tile so we could go any number of directions. She understood that we had limited time and was respectful of that. 2. Although I suspect that Vaso's personal aesthetic probably differs somewhat from my own, I was deeply impressed by her ability to be responsive, to listen to what was important to me, and implement my vision, not hers. Even more impressive, when she presented an idea we didn't love, she wasn't at all defensive and just moved on to find the next idea. I suspect that this client focus and adaptability are very rare in a designer. When I look at her other work, I see she able to be as responsive to other people's styles as she was to ours. 3. She came up with really great ideas. I wanted a lot of color. She came up with a beautiful red accent wall and high gloss red credenza that gave me the color I wanted in our otherwise blue and gray, peaceful palate. I would not have thought of these ideas, but once she suggested them, I loved them. 4. She was patient. It is hard to marry different styles in creating a home. My husband and I did a lot of arguing about the couch (thank god decorating a house is only something you do once in a blue moon). She understood. She persevered. She came up with creative solutions. She kept trying. We ended up with a couch we both love. She helped us achieve a truly superior product that has elements of both of us in it. I recommend her highly and without any reservations.

Vaso was a blessing in our remodel process.
