I’ve worked with Buddy Warren since 2009, and over the years he has helped me with five or six different apartments, both rentals and places I owned. He has renovated them, decorated them, designed furniture, and, most importantly, made each one work better for the way I actually live. What makes Buddy so valuable is that he combines a real understanding of renovation and construction with a wonderful design eye, so he can think about an apartment as a whole: what is structurally possible, what is worth spending money on, and how to make it feel both beautiful and comfortable. Because I’ve worked with him on both rentals and owned apartments, I’ve also seen how smart and disciplined he is about tailoring his recommendations to the situation. He has a very good sense of which changes are worth making and which are not, depending on the apartment and how long you expect to stay. That kind of judgment is incredibly helpful and, in my experience, quite unusual. Over the years he has helped me with floors, moldings, pocket doors, cabinetry, upholstery, furniture placement, and ceiling work. He has reworked closets for me, turning them into deeper walk-ins or better slider configurations, and he is particularly gifted at finding storage opportunities and layout solutions that are not obvious at first glance. He has also designed furniture for me and incorporated antique pieces in ways that made the apartments feel more personal and interesting rather than generic. Buddy listens carefully, has impeccable instincts about placement and proportion, and knows how to create rooms that feel polished, warm, and individual without ever feeling overdone. After working with him for this long, I trust his judgment completely. I’ve just bought another place and am looking forward to working with him on that one as well. I recommend him very highly.

Buddy had wonderful ideas, excellent execution, and the work was done on time ! The shower body was replaced, along with all new shower fixtures, which he chose and are beautiful. He found matches for tiles that were broken and replaced the sink.
