Look elsewhere for professional advice. We got burned by another company owned by Neil Parsons (Design Build Pros, then changed of name to Design Build Planners) over 5 years ago and continue to warn others... that's how bad it was. Took over $5k to design a kitchen addition for us and after several ridiculous floorplans asked us for more money to continue trying. By "ridiculous" I mean no consideration to load bearing walls, water and electrical routing being placed in the most difficult places, kitchen counters and appliances just placed against walls of a 20x15 foot room. Imagine walking across a dance floor sized space to get from the sink to the stove. There were zero design skills in the product they provided and gave up realizing that they weren't capable of providing it. This is just a ploy to get your money, give you bad advice and hope you move on and chalk it up to a lesson learned. Don't fall for it.

I had no idea what to expect when Neil and the Design crew discussed how they could help me plan the remodeling of my pizzeria. I had watched plenty of TV shows of course but I had never needed to redesign space until this project. Even durning the early discussions I still wasn't sure what I was getting involved in but then came the book! After several discussions on what I had in mind for the space Neil brings me the designs and I'm floored with how much attention to detail they have and how the Design team was able to take what I talked about and turn it into a real tangible layout that I could show to contractors! Simply awesome! The best was yet to come! Armed with the design I was now able to compare apples to apples with the different contractors that showed up to pitch me why I should be hiring them to complete the work. That was the best part because now I was able to get multiple bids on the work without the worry of did I explain the work correctly? the same? to each of these people. It was as simple as showing them the design and having them compete to give me what I was showing them. A real game changer for sure. I definitely recommend Neil and his team for any project! They provide a whole lot more PLUS peace of mind and that is worth the price of admission.

We know the team from DBP when they were with "Mark of Excellence". Neil and Jason Parsons are very professional design contractors. They did the remodel of the exterior of our house and also the master bathroom. Both projects resulted with excellent results. All the contractors that were involved with each renovation were very professional, courteous, and very conscious of our family situation. We are currently working with them on an upstairs bathroom remodel. We anticipate the same excellent results from DBP this time around.. Their contractors are all very professional and the detail of their workmanship is outstanding. We would highly recommend Neil and Jason Parsons (DBP) and all the contractors they use.

I hired these guys to do a renevation on my home. They sold me $7,000 designs showing me a $250,000 renovation and then I never heard from them again. These guys seem much more interested in selling you over priced designs then doing actual work on your home. You don’t need them or their over priced designs, there are legitimate contractors who won’t make you feel like you got scammed.

DBP is the best. Highly professional and polite, and are on top of every detail. I could not recommend them more highly.

We sold our house last year, and have been leasing one since then while looking for our next new home, and we were a bit overwhelmed when we settled on a short-sale in order to be in the area we liked. The best thing that could have happened to us was meeting Andrew, Neil and Jason because they were able not only to simplify our project, but also organize it, give us the visual aspect (very important since we had no clue as to how it should look) and more importantly, a budget we could handle. They are professional, attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and responsive. Neil and Jason were always ready to make whatever changes we asked, and timely provide new designs for us to review. Neil came over our house several times to patiently explain to us all the pros and cons, make suggestion and provide ideas. They made introduction to several vendors for products we would require, and we were treated like royalties by all of them. I can only say no matter how big or small, if you are contemplating any type of remodeling, you need to speak with Andrew, Neil or Jason and let them simplify your remodeling project while removing the burden associated with any home related project. Met the professionals from Design Build Pros at home show. We were considering doing interior renovation to our home and needed some guidance. My wife and I are not creative and while we had ideas of what we would like to do to our house Design Build Pros were able to show us in photos what finished product would look like. While we did not pick out exact tile and cabinets in presentation it helped tremendously with the process. Could not have been happier with all the help received.

We feel very fortunate to have found Design Build Pros. We were grappling with seemingly impossible design issues of incorporating a washer/dryer into a complete bathroom remodel. Jason took on the challenge and assiduously worked to come up with possible solutions. Eventually, he told us that he just didn't think what we wanted would be feasible within the parameters of our small bathroom. We had come into this project naively thinking that just because we wanted this, it could be done. We were also very grateful to have been introduced by them to venues with excellent service and products for all our plumbing and tile selections. If we were to remodel again, there is no doubt that we would call upon Design Build Pros.
