Customer service was terrible after defective tile was sent. Not helpful and only interested in selling product. Highly suggest you avoid this company.

Installed Savoy 2" x 8" Rice Paper tile on large vanity wall counter to ceiling using aligned horizontal grid layout pattern. Was having trouble with alignment when I figured out the tile was not a consistent length. The tile had as much as an 1/8" difference in length and varied tile to tile. When using a 1/16" grout joint that doesn't work very well with an aligned grid. So after I several courses installed I figured this out and had to to find tile of the same length as the one on the bottom of the column to get the correct alignment. If you were to adjust for the length differential for the entire layout it would require a 3/16" grout joint which is not the grout joint size typically used for this type of tile that requires a minimal grout size of 1/16". There is no reason that a tile of from this high-end of a company and this cost should have this much of a length differential. At a minimum Ann Sacks should warn the installer of the length differential as they do the color variation.

I ordered kitchen tiles from this company twice. I felt that I was cheated by the company on their pricing the second time. When I placed the order for the same times just two months later, they raised their prices 60%. I asked them how did the price of the titles (a commodity) went up 60% in just two months, but they did not have an answer. This was just a way for them to charge me excessively realizing that I was locked in with them given that I was short of tiles in my first order and that now I could not have gone with any other provider.

Ann Sacks offers tile that you just can't find elsewhere and they've got great customer service (thanks Alan in San Francisco!). We're about to put in a large order of Ann Sacks tile for a modern home construction in Los Altos, California, and I'm reminded by how much we like Ann Sacks tile. Below are a couple of projects that we've done with Ann Sacks tile. If you go with Ann Sacks tile, keep in mind that it isn't stocked locally in the San Francisco Bay Area, so be sure to allow enough lead time and order all of your tile at once to save on shipping. Below are a couple of projects in San Francisco's Silicon Valley that we completed.

I used Ann Sacks for 5 bathrooms, foyer and kitchen...the Beau Monde Cary Pattern polished (white with negro marquina links)..the Bullard Eastern Promise...the Benton Braid white thassos/shell...the Moderne Mosaic in thassos and Botticino polished...oh and of course the main entrance foyer Beau Monde Mosaic custom expanded Grace Pattern... I can't say enough about these tiles...just gorgeous... works of art in every area of this home. Carrie you were great to work with and our team applauds your professionalism.

Complete disaster. Delayed my entire project 2 months to get the customer configured glass (about $7,000 worth of material). Instead it arrived in the standard sheets and the glass was crooked so the sheets had to be cut apart to install. Drove an extra $2,000 in labor that the Vice President of the company said they would cover. Eight months later and I'm still trying to get it sorted out.
