Urban Forest Pro

We have used Urban Forest Pro twice, after being referred to Urban Forest Pro by my brother, a remodeling/renovation contractor. We have a large yard in the Irvington/Dolph Park neighborhood, thus, have quite a few trees of various types. We were impressed both times, but this last time we felt compelled to provide a review. We've used various tree and landscaping services over the years, and we recognize that Urban Forest Pro is extraordinarily professional, they listen to what we are looking for, prioritize tree health, and take the time to provide good advice as to what we should do (and not do) even if what they propose involves less than what we thought we wanted (ie. less revenue). We don't write many reviews, but we wanted to share how much we appreciate their service.

I am impressed with this company’s care and response to an unhappy customer. We had a scheduling/communication mix up and Cassie was eager to fix it and make it right with approval of ownership. Cassie, thank you for your efforts and I will be calling you for the next job.

Urban Forest Pro has been a service provider to us in the tree pruning, tree removal, and stump grinding space for about ten years now. They always do a fantastic job and make sure the job is done right, from the front lines to the back office. They are a model for service providers in any service industry to follow, and must surely be the envy of their competition!

Urban Forest recently removed an 80 foot Grand Fir tree that had a diameter of 42 inches at the base. The tree was located between the house and a wood fence 12 feet from the house. Obviously a challenging endeavor. The Urban Forest crew(s) removed the branches, brought down the tree trunk, ground the stump and removed the wood safely and without any damage to the house or the fence. The only structural issue was the displacement of the pad on which the nearby air conditioner was situated. They corrected this problem. I did not get any other bids for this job because Urban Forest had removed a large branch from another tall tree on my lot that had become disconnected during a storm a couple of years ago. Their bid at that time was competitive with others I received. I was so impressed with the manner in which they did the earlier less complex job that I wanted them to do this more difficult job. Their policy is to have a certified arborist as part of every crew who has to go up in to a tree, and that expertise is very evident. I am definitely glad I made that decision and would recommend them to anyone who needs competent, professional work done with their trees.

Been using these guys for years now. Street tree pruning and when the shrubs get out of control. I appreciate how they check in before they leave to make sure I’m happy with the work. I recommend this company.

I was looking for a good arborist in Portland, and i certainly found one. I found them through Friends Of Trees (the non-profit). I called a few options and they where quick to respond, and to get someone out to take a look and get me a quote. Very competitively priced, and scheduling was easy. I was even able to get in sooner, because they called when other opening shoed up, this was very helpful. The day they came to do the work they where organized, and quick. Took care of not damaging other trees or wires, and not dropping anything in the neighbor's yard. They cleaned up the fallen branches nicely, and left me with a nice pile of firewood (i asked for this). I like to ask questions, and they didn't have issues with that. Totally friendly about it.

Urban Forest Pro was AMAZING, starting with their friendly office folk who not only made scheduling a breeze, but understood our unique needs during this health crisis, and navigated with great persistence, the city permitting process. When the crew came out - on time and following distance requests - they were both personable and professional. I had specific requests regarding the wood and they went FAR above and beyond in meeting my needs. I truly could not be happier with their service, their attitude, or their finished work. They are AWESOME! In addition, they diagnosed and treated my beloved Dogwood tree and it truly looks better already. So glad I signed up for their 3 year treatment plan! Soon it will be back to it's original glory, I'm sure. I highly recommend Urban Forest Pro!

They really are Pros! Urban Forest helped us with the removal of three invasive trees in our yard. They were quick, respectful of our yard, and they did an wonderful job. I would highly recommend!

Absolute professionals. I have had problems with tree services in the past so I decided to go with Urban Forest Pro because they were highly rated. They are more expensive than other services but worth every penny. I recommend them highly.

Urban Forest Pro was great to work with, the crew was all over it and took excellent care of the neighboring lots, they kept in touch as they were going to confirm what was being done was as desired, and just overall polite and easy to work with. Would easily recommend anyone needing work done to call UFP.

Crew #1 did a fantastic job on trimming our trees and taking out a menacing tree root. The crew was very knowledgeable and courteous. I highly recommend Urban Forest Pro and will use them again.

Very happy with my experience with Urban Forest. Jeff answered all my questions and gave me great options for pruning my trees. The crew did a great job and took great care with the trees. They cleaned up all the debris and left the area as they found it. Will be using them to care for my trees on a regular basis.
