We have hired Seattle Design Solutions to install window coverings in six different rooms including custom fabric blinds, hunter douglas blinds and blackout curtains for my children's rooms. They also installed a custom closet in my daughter's somewhat small room that allowed us to get rid of her dresser and maximize the existing space - my daughter really loves her closet. Sonja and her mom are super nice people to work with, I highly recommend this company.

I am so pleased with the roller shades that Seattle Design Solutions installed in my sunroom. It was important that I maintain my view yet minimize the intense sunlight entering the room. I had a situation where another company tried to sell me very expensive ill fitting blinds and was told the problem was my windows. My husband and I recently completed the major remodel of our 30+ year old downtown Seattle condo. We used Connie to help us with colors and finishes to make sure everything worked together in the small space. She was excellent to work with and wanted to ensure that our choices were reflections of our style, not hers. She also referred us to some excellent sources for flooring and plumbing fixtures. Connie and Sonja also assisted us with closets, new window seat pads and Q-Motion window blinds; we have been very happy with the end result. To my mind, the real test of a business is how they handle issues. We had some major issues with the Q-Motion motorized blinds due to interference with the boat traffic on Elliott Bay. This was outside of Connie and Sonja’s control, but they worked with us and Q-Motion to make sure the issues were addressed and now the blinds are working perfectly. We highly recommend Connie and Sonja!

New construction in our neighborhood has been designed to look right into our bedroom and dining room windows, so we desperately needed something to maintain our privacy. Sonja and Seattle Design Solutions did a wonderful job helping us find just the right solutions that protect the views I love and match the style and decor of our home. The service that Connie and Sonja provided was great from the start. It was actually a friend of mine that called them to set up the appointment - he knew what I was looking for and informed them. When they arrived, Connie immediately reiterated what I was looking for. Sure, it felt like she was reading my mind and I knew it wasn't the case, but it was nice to see and hear that they were really understanding where I was coming from as a customer and we met just seconds prior. Other quote experiences I had, I would have to rifle through samples and get confused as to what it was I was looking for. But these ladies had strong recommendations for me while still offering to look at samples if I would like. It was much less stressful and I trusted their recommendations because they were really paying attention to the design and color palette in my home. They took note of little details I wouldn't have thought of such as spacing to accommodate the sliding door or where the cords should go to accommodate the user while still looking sleek in my home. These ladies really think of everything. They are great at communicating and, most importantly, great at listening. And the +++ worth mentioning, they are very cost effective and are also transparent about your savings and they don't try to upsale you.

We had two of our closets done. Our house is a tiny turn of the century with tiny closets and I am amazed at how much space was made. People always comment on my cool shoe racks when they see our room. The installation was clean and fast. Very satisfied overall!
