My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

About Us

One of Jo Alcorn’s most fulfilling adventure had been having the opportunity to design her own signature furniture collection. This endeavor quickly blossomed into a complete home product line that now includes: pillows, bedding, lighting, wallpaper and a newly launched charitable pet collection aptly named PET LOVE 4 CHARITY. With over 15 years experiences as a celebrity interior and home product designer, expert instructor, corporate ambassador, and TV personality, Jo had created a fabulous fan following. To add to credentials, she is a style editor & writer for multiple publications and blogs, a public speaker, and a avid animal environmental advocate. Jo’s passion for design has been showcased on HGTV, Discovery Channel, Marilyn Denis, CBC’s Steven & Chris, CityTV, BT, CHCH, Global Morning and Noon, Rogers Stations, CP24 and more. Along with multiple global design publications and blogs. She is the designer face of HGTV’s 2014 Critical Listing and is creatively showcasing her abilities on four seasons of HGTV’s biggest success Home To Win.

I hired Jo orginally to help me with our new home, as we needed a lot of new furniture and well, I took her shopping with me, and WOW ... what an experience. We have now been in our home for 3 years and I call Jo my "sparkle". Our house has truly become our Dream Home, and its all becauase of Jo. Everything she picked is absoltely perfect, from style to colour to comfort. All my friends love my home, and how its decorated and thanks to Jo I love showing it off! I have continued to work with Jo on different projects throughout the years. Jo also comes and makes our home "sparkle" at Christmas. Our home is transformed into a Department store with the glittler and "sparkle" of our perfectly decorated Christmas decorations. I would suggest Jo to anyone, she truly is great at what she does!

Jo is a refreshing, honest and incredibly respectful person to work with. Jo came to my rescue when my tired, dated home was in need of TLC. I was overwhelmed and although have a love for decor, certainly not skilled enough to make decisions. Jo came to my home and gave me incredible direction and advice that was budget appropriate. Without any hesitation, when asked to support a local charity event Jo generously donated her services. A sunshine bright personality with an amazing sense of style, Jo spent time, care and follow up to bring my home to a new sparkle. I get excited when I see her shine on tv and never hesitate to recommend her.

Jo has a great eye for style. She listens closely to her clients to hone in on exactly what they need and desire. Her taste is classic but stylish too, she is never too trendy and avoids overwhelming design. She keeps the rooms functional and fashionable.

Jo was responsible for the design of the renovation on the main floor of our bungalow, which included opening up our dining and living space as well as a new bathroom. Jo's choice of flooring, cupboards, wall colours, fabrics, etc. were all bang on. She also put much thought and detail into space saving solutions in our small home, which have proved to be very efficient. Jo has a special knack for channeling one's personality into their space. Two years later, I am still thrilled with what Jo has done and how her design ideas have enhanced our lives. I highly recommend hiring Jo!
